Hidden gem!
We chose this place for a business meeting since it was halfway between us, and it turned out to be such a great find. Everything was on point — fresh ingredients, amazing flavors, and excellent coffee.

I happened to be in the area this morning and stopped in for breakfast. This place is so charming. The BMT was outstanding. It was served hot and tasted so good. Service was exceptional. I didn’t catch my server’s name (the owner’s daughter)but she was very sweet and checked in with fresh coffee often. She also offered a cake cup when she heard it was my birthday. The bakery case is filled with delicious treats baked on site. Prices are more than reasonable as well . The lunch menu looked amazing also . I wish I lived closer because I would be a regular for sure . I called a friend who lives nearby to join me and she had a pleasant experience also.
Do not pass Country Rose without stopping in. You will not be disappointed. It was obvious that many diners are repeat customers because they were greeted by name and the server seemed to know their orders. This is exceptional service!!

Love it here. Our first time. The baked Irish oatmeal was amazing. Good coffee too! (I’m a snob!) The windows bring in the sunshine and warmth. The bird feeders just outside the door are so wonderful to watch. Really love how peaceful I feel here. We will be back. Try this place. You may enjoy it even more than we did ⬛

What a charming place! Breakfast and staff were great. The omelet and breakfast burrito were both excellent. The tempting bakery items looked delicious, I will have to try something during my next visit. The staff was very friendly. The restaurant was nicely decorated and offered a great view. Looking forward to returning soon.

I don’t understand the mixed reviews. FANTASTIC food, really friendly waitress & owner. And the decor of the restaurant is sweet and well maintained.
As you see in the pictures, lots of food for the price, you definitely get what you pay for.

Cafe at the roundabout in the middle of nowhere, but it is NOT a sleeper. My bad for driving by for decades without stopping. The skillet I had was awesome and the portion size was perfect. Their bakery items were all so delicious.

Country Rose is great! And they have the BEST CAKES EVER! They are my go-to bakery when I want to wow my guests or special people for their birthdays. The team is friendly, flexible and helpful. Besides the bakery, the breakfast and lunch menus offer tasty dishes and healthy portions. Definitely a Union Grove/Yorkville gem!

I love this cafe! The atmosphere is so open and bright. I’d love to come back in summer and sit on their patio. The food and bakery were tasty and the latte was delicious too! The service was amazing. They were so accommodating. Just really nice old fashioned table service.
