Amazing bbq and top notch service. The best brisket I ever had! But everything we had was full of flavor, moist and tender. Do not leave without trying the beans either! They are the best. Super clean dining area is a huge plus.

Very nice lady Amanda took our order she was very friendly and gave great service. She offered us a sample of the brisket and it was delicious. I’m a chef and I could not have cooked it better. My girlfriend and I decided to get and share wings, pulled pork with American cheese, chicken, with sides of sweet potato fries, baked beans, and greens beans.
The sweet potato fries Are the best I’ve ever had In my life, the wings were smoked and very meaty, the pulled pork was delicious….. everything was cooked to perfection. The owner checked up on us to make sure everything was good and it was excellent.
Great service, excellent food and great prices every penny was worth it.

Absolutely wonderful experience from the young man behind the counter to take our order to meeting everyone there today including the pit master / head smoker ( not sure what the proper title is ). The ribs were fall off the bone tender, succulent, and amazing. We also had the pulled pork and it was as it was shown in the photos loaded with pork and another hit with us. Also sampled the brisket and the smoked wings every item we tried was excellent. The staff was friendly accommodating and made sure our experience was extremely pleasant. I would high recommend this place to anyone and it was worth our trip to Wheeling.

My wife and I have had a decent amount of BBQ over the years and Country Roads BBQ has made it into the top of our lists.
To start with, this is a local family-owned operation and they take being local a step further by using their front window to advertise the services of other local businesses…class act in my book! While ordering we discerned that it was the father and son that were working the counter. They were very pleasant to talk with and their eagerness to please demonstrated a pride in ownership.
After making our 3-meat platter selections, our order was expeditiously prepared and brought to the table as we opted to dine-in at one of their stainless steel table tops. The meat didn’t need any sauce as it had a delicious smoky taste all on its own (to include the smoked chicken wings). That said, they had several sauce options to choose from and they were all equally good. As a testament to the quality of the food, my wife pointed out that the sausage was her favorite and she’s typically not a fan. This spurred a complimentary sample of mac & cheese being brought to our table with the recommendation to add the sausage to it…one word, delicious!!!
Overall, this was a very nice experience all-around and we plan on returning the next time we’re in town.
Tip: if it’s late in the day then call ahead because we were told they sometimes sell-out of their delicious menu items
Pro-tip: order sausage as a entree and a side of mac & cheese…combine and enjoy the “almost heaven”.

These guys always come through. Best brisket I’ve had. I had an employee appreciation event and their catering was a hit. Only gave 24 hours notice and they came through. The most surprising part of this restaurant is they have so much potential do be even better than they already are! A lot of respect to this locally owned father/ son team.

Like spicy food? They their spicy BBQ sauce. It’s not overbearing, but has a zing with smoky hints.

Stopped here on a trip to WV and I’m so glad we did. Everything we had was great !!! Large portions and honestly just very good. Pulled pork and the brisket yum yum . My fiance loved the chicken and ribs. Ohhh and the mac n cheese was amazing.

OMG it’s delicious! The pulled pork quesadilla was exceptional. The fries were cooked to perfection. The original BBQ sauce, I’ve personally never had better. I tend to avoid sauces, I couldn’t stop adding a bit to each bite! Will definitely make a point to come back when next in town!

This is the best bbq you could get. It’s my favorite restaurant and my all time favorite food. This place is the embodiment of the good of West Virginia. I cant get enough, if you think you can handle your food. You’re gonna be stuffed, but you’ll love this food and friendly staff. The place is good, I feel at home when I go in and feel like I’m getting food from my family. This place, is the best food I’ve ever had in my 18 years of life.
