If you’re still reading I’m guessing you’re a corned beef hash fan too? Or just plain curious. Either way, it’s all good. If you decide to head out to Country Road Cafe it’s under their Heaps of Hash in their menu. There’s four different kinds priced at $13.95 and I’ve tried two of them(see photos): The Corned Hash Bowl and Bison Hash Bowl. All fully loaded with well seasoned crunchy potatoes and your specific protein. Topped with two poached eggs and hollandaise sauce for the Corned Beef one.
It was the best! Thick strips of corned beef! Omg! The Bison one was equally tasty!
For now they only accept dining in their spacious patio. Do this when you arrive. Order from the window next to the front door. Head over to their patio and your food will be brought to you!
I took home most of mine. Ate the leftover this morning and I’m still very much happy with it.
They’re closed Monday and Tuesday. Their hours are: 7-1:30ish ( their exact words ).
It worth the drive in every aspect. You’re welcome!
I highly recommend coming in the middle of the week as weekends are usually packed with wait times for over an hour, during the week it can be up to 15-30 minutes. At this time they do not take reservations but the short wait during the week is worth it!
This location is near several trail heads so it is a great place to stop before or after your adventures!
This gem is absolutely worth the wait and is a must for a breakfast destination.
The menu options are LEGIT – I think they have something like 14 different Benedict’s as an example. I’m a huge eggs Benedict fan so after consulting with the server, I chose the Peach Chance Benedict (although there were 3 or 4 options I would have loved to buy and take home). The pork was well flavored and juicy, eggs perfectly poached and the muffin wasn’t soggy but not overly toasted (this is the real litmus test for a Benedict, ask your expert benedict friends, there’s one in every group). Hash browns were also well seasoned and cooked – I could have eaten them by themselves but instead chose to accompany them with the house-made habanero hot sauce. So good.
My girlfriend ordered the Green Chili Omelette and she also thought it was delicious. Eggs were fluffy and vegetables were fresh.
The staff were friendly and helpful. They upsold me on the cinnamon bun which j can’t hold against them, though I did have to bring half my breakfast home.
Make sure you get there early (before 830am) on the weekends as if gets crowded and you’ll likely have to wait otherwise.
