I had the brisket baked potato and it was very good. They had three types of BBQ sauce available and you will definitely find one you like I’m sure. It was crowded when we arrived around 6 and everything took quite a while. By the time we were leaving it was fairly empty, I’d probably go later next time. When it was crowded, it does get a little noisy for visiting. Overall, a great place to check out!

Edit: Came back after a little while to check the place out again after hearing some positive reviews, and yes I would definitely say that the quality of the food has improved tremendously from the last time we were there. Brisket definitely had a lot of good bark to it, the ribs had just the right amount of bite and flavor, and the sides were delicious! I think we will have to put the country road Barn in our regular rotation
We decided to give this new place a try, the barbecue was pretty decent. I tried the three meat combo including ribs, chicken, and brisket. You could tell all of their meat was truly smoked and had good moisture content and flavor. I would definitely agree with other reviewers saying that the hot sauce was not all that hot.

Some of the best brisket I’ve ever had and the bread pudding was literally to die for!! You must order that when you go, you won’t regret it! We also ordered the chili and pulled chicken which I didn’t love as much but the pulled pork we got was very good. Bartended made a great mule and prices were great. All in all, 10/10, highly recommend!

We heard about this new BBQ place just north of Watertown SD so we decided to check it out. I had the 2 meat platter with ribs and brisket. The ribs tasted great and didn’t need any sauce for a great flavor. The brisket had a great smoke ring pull apart tender, however they were just a little dry. I used the hot sauce, which can only be called that in the Midwest, it wasn’t very hot. The white cheddar Mac and cheese was great, I only wish you could get the side order with brisket like the entree. The sidewinder potatoes were fun and tasty. We will definitely venture here again.
