Very disappointing experience. I ordered a steak that normally comes with hash browns and toast. I politely asked to replace the toast with one egg and the hash browns with another egg. This is a very common request, and other locations of this chain usually do it without charging extra.

Here they not only removed the hash browns and toast, but also charged extra for the eggs. The staff simply said “that’s how we do it here.” It’s not about the money, it’s about the principle and basic customer service.

The steak portion was also surprisingly small. On top of that, I was asked whether I wanted it for breakfast or lunch, even though the portion doesn’t change at all. That question made no sense.

Overall a very frustrating experience. I definitely won’t be coming back to this location.

We were TRAVELLING on I-80 W in Wyoming, when suddenly, due to a winter snow blizzard the highway was closed down. So everyone had to return to Rawlins to get a hotel. By the time we got there ALL rooms were taken, so we had to spend the night in our car, in their parking lot, next to the Country Pride Restaurant. Everyone on staff was very accommodating (even free coffee refills all night) at the T/A truck stop. We had dinner and hunkered down in our car with engine running all night (for heat). Food was very good and well priced and service very friendly to our condition.

However, unlike these folks, the town of Rawlins allows the hotels to use Price Gouging when the highway is shut down, with the hotels hiking the price of a room from $65 – $98/night, to $450 to $750 /night for each night the highway is closed. KUDOS to the T/A Travel Center and Country Pride Restaurant… TOTALLY SHAMEFUL to the Town of Rawlins WY and the hotels there. In Florida they would be shut down for Price Gouging due to a storm.

I was reading the reviews while I was waiting on my food and thought oh I should of read these first but tired of truck stop sandwichs and fast food I wanted to sit relax and have a good meal by reading some of the reviews began to think that was going to happen not sure why people are dogging the food the staff and cooks because my experience was great the 2 waitresses that were on duty Kendra and samantha were great smiling faces great attitude very pleasant they both came by often not enough to be annoying but enough to show they take pride in their jobs and service they checked on all the customers didn’t matter who the actual server was the food came out hot and was very delicious had the country fried steak breakfast went to the convenience store side. To get a refill and a couple of snacks and everyone over there was smiling and very pleasant. So if you happen to stop in and maybe catch someone on a bad day before you trash them in a review stop and think what they maybe going through everyone of us have bad days please remember that and by the way first time here and will be back next time im this way

Idk. Ordered grilled white fish with loaded baked potato and check picture what I got. The potato looked like it was laying somewhere in the corner from covid times. Very small and squishy. Didn’t get a slice of bread with it, no fish sauce or sour cream. I get it. It’s in the middle of Wyoming, but food should look fresh. We pay money for it. You guys serving a food to a people not to a hogs. Don’t know if I’ll get something to eat anytime soon.

Food was a disaster! My green beans were frozen, and they were out of almost everything. The wait for our food was ridiculously long, and they were telling people they had to wait 15 minutes just to order, even though it wasn’t busy. I will not be returning here.

There was two waiters one working hard to keep everyone satisfied , but the lady with pink hair had his boyfriend over the other side of the restaurant and wasn’t paying attention to the costumers .
When we sat down on the other side of the restaurant she didn’t even said hello or welcome and just told us to move to the other side of the restaurant with a bad attitude .

I didn’t know the “chopped steak” is a burger patty. seriously? If I wanted a burger I would of ordered one.
Edit: moved to 3 starts the server asked if I liked the food so I was honest and I said I don’t like the burger so she brought out bacon and sausage. The bacon was nasty. It was old for sure.
