1) Harper, our waitress… did an amazing job. Our drinks never went empty.
2) The Hot Honey Cheese Curd Burger was amazing. As well as the fries.
3) The coleslaw and mac and cheese wasn’t our favorite…but it was just by preference. The steak wasn’t too bad.
4) The sweet tea was AMAZING!
I would come back…definitely for the amazing service and the burger.

Ordered fish and chips/ shrimp basket/ side of broccoli/ strawberry cake.
Everything tastes good. Seafood wasn’t mushy. Tastes like clean frying oil. Broccoli was boiled in lots of butter. Cake super moist.

Moving on with Old man river
I stopped in here to both have breakfast and to kill a little time untill the Tina Turner musume opens. I had the long haul breakfast and coffee. There was a lot of food. Mostly truckers eat here it seems. The waitress was Wendy, she was very professnal and made sure I had everything I needed. I normally do not eat at chains or resturants in general. This is the exception because of the waitress.

Ordered scrambled eggs with bacon, got chopped up rubbery and tasteless eggs, the bacon was burned and oily, probably cooked in the fryer. That is just dishonour. We drivers get enough hardships on the road and spend a fortune at restaurants to be treated with almost contempt

Miss Sarah and the cook Mr Jeremy were 100% I can’t speak on anyone else’s shift or other times but I got there at the dawn of the lunch hour by 11:00 you had me a steak and egg brunch to go as a trucker and the whole field felt like that old school authentic trucker Diner element be sure to tell her hello because the food was wonderful

Best part of my meal was the service. 5 stars for Harper. Chicken fried steak/ mashed taters had odd taste, maybe the cream gravy was to blame.

The waitress was amazing and she deserves acknowledgment!!! But the food was absolutely horrible, my finger was literally bigger than the pieces of fried chicken I got with the fried chicken dinner and the mashed potatoes were old and burnt into the bowl they served them in

My car broke down in this parking lot away from home. We stayed here for 4 hours waiting on our ride. We had a nice meal and they were so sweet and understanding. We pass by this place at least twice a year. We will definitely stop by again.
