Reviews
I had the Traditional Breakfast with scrambled eggs , turkey sausage, sourdough toast with coffee ☕ and orange juice . It tasted good but the food portion to price was low. I guess with inflation and the cost of running a business it is to be expected. I was not offered a refill on my coffee. Bummer . It did taste good.
Service was friendly and the dining area was clean.
The speaker announcement of a shower being available was amusing.
I would visit here again and bring my kids.
Throughout the entire time I was there, she never once came by to ask if I needed anything, even though she walked past me several times and clearly saw that my tea was empty. I would understand if the place was full, but besides me, there were only two other customers.
Alright, I placed my order and stayed to eat. But with staff like that, next time I stop at this travel center, I’ll go to the McDonald’s next door and spend my money there. I’ll also write this review and leave the appropriate rating.
As for the food — reheated frozen vegetables and instant mashed potatoes. The meat also seemed like it had been frozen. It was some kind of stew, but some pieces were burnt on one side while others were just barely acceptable.
The only hint of politeness she showed was when she brought the check and politely pointed to the line where I could leave a tip.
In the end, I usually leave a good tip, but with this kind of attitude, they’ve lost me as a customer. I hope others read this review and think twice before visiting this place.
And if you don’t feel like going to McDonald’s, there’s a Target nearby — go there, grab a ready-made meal, and congratulations: you’ve just had a better experience than eating at this “restaurant.”
Today it was hardly that good.
Lori came and took my order, then brought me my drink. The saldbar was half empty, or empty.
She brought me my burger and it was pink in the middle.
25 minutes later she brought me my check.
My cup was empty within a minute, being that I was very thirsty.
I should have gone to the McDonald’s across the street.
I pride myself on being a generous guy, that tips well. The $1.00 was much more than was deserved.
I would have faired better with the hotdogs and soda’s.
