Was shopping in the area and local friend recommended the Country Oven as a place to eat. had the Ruben Tuesday Special. It was great, loved the fact the meat was also hot. Obviously popular as we were leaving the lunch rush was starting and it was filling in fast. Great find. We’ll be back

Lovely little restaurant, nice place to meet with family for a hearty, delicious, generous meal. Prices are reasonable for the amount of food. Been here a half a dozen times. The staff is very nice as well. This is on my favorite list!

This was my first time going to Country zoven of Berkeley and it will not be my last time. The menu is huge consisting of 9+ pages. You can choose from breakfast to dinner with daily lunch and dinner specials. Our server was very friendly and attentive.

Outside of being a great restaurant with endless variety of options on the menu, the food is delicious and VERY reasonably priced. I included pictures of the menu because there were so many choices I didn’t know where to start.
So far the lemon rice soup is my go-to, the fried chicken hani is delicious and overfilled with chicken. You get way more for your money here than any other place and also the staff is nice! Highly recommend.

The host and waitresses were fantastic ! They gave excellent service and were so engaging and hospitable to our kids, made them feel included ! The food was good, the other patrons, however are not too fond of diversity if you catch my drift.

Ordered the Paul’s Country Skillet. Noticed very little sausage gravy and I asked. Waitress proceeds to point at the slight bit of gravy visible. She offers me the chance to purchase a side of gravy. I declined because the skillet is already 13.95.
Additionally my biscuit was cold. Not even sliced. And definitely not grilled like most places do without you having to ask. I popped it in the air fyer when I got home to make it delicious.
All in all decent fare.

The waitress was cool, but the food was mediocre at best. The meatloaf has a lot of oregano it, odd flavor choice by the cook. The spinach pie was bland, no feta and the Philo was burnt. Disappointing for sure. Ample parking, locacted on 12 Mile rd. in Southfield Michigan.

I have been coming here for a while. Country Oven is my favorite go-to spot for lunch. It’s down the street from where I work.
Today was my first time being back in since the shutdown.
Excellent customer service and excellent food.
I had the hot turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes, and I treated myself to dessert and got a slice of Apple pie with vanilla ice cream so delicious.

The atmosphere is wonderful and the food is phenomenal and good portions as well and great service too. Very nice family owned place and I loved every minute of it. I’d dine in again. Very relaxed and calm, cool and collected staff too.
