Amazing ice cream for my second time. First time was some time years ago. Probably childhood. We ordered a pint of pistachio ($5.50) and 1 dip of chocolate almond ($4.00) in a waffle cone ($0.50). The cream came with a nice patio view of the orchard. The weather was perfect and the people are generous. We asked some people passing by what their favourite flavours were and they responded Maple Nut and Butterscotch. Have to try those next time we pass by Cuyahoga Valley.

This is our second time visiting this place. It’s a gem on an unexpected windy road! We ordered the ice cream and popcorn both times. What’s more American than ice cream and popcorn?! I’d like to come back in the fall one year because I’m sure it’s as charming as ever. I love these old family-owned shops. Worth the trip!

Have (or now had) been going to Country Maid for years and always felt their ice cream to be one of the best in the area. I noticed that they were reopening March 7th and mentioned to my wife on the 8th I wonder if they raised their prices. Yep, the prices are higher, but what was more shocking was the shrinkflation. Not sure if they are using a smaller scooper or if the person doing the scooping doesn’t know how much to scoop, but the portion was nowhere near what they show, what we were served last year, or what any reasonable person would expect. My wife’s ice cream also had some ice crystals. Quality and quantity is not what it used to be. We’ll stick with Handel’s (they never skimp)!

Beautiful place! Found it by accident driving somewhere else and pulled in. So glad we did! So many flavors and wow – the ice cream was amazing! Clean place and all the workers there today were helpful and had smiles on their face! Definitely make a stop if you want farm fresh stuff! Also sell some bulk items inside – Ice cream, candies and other items. Highly Recommend

Stopped at Country Made Ice Cream on a whim and was pleasantly surprised to find they had sugar-free options! As someone who avoids sugar, it’s not always easy to find something I can enjoy, but they had both chocolate and vanilla available. I went with the chocolate, and it was excellent: rich, creamy, and satisfying without the sugar crash. Friendly service and a charming little stop. Definitely worth it!

A local staple of summer! Only made and served here. Lines move fast, and they open a second counter when it’s really busy. Great value, and an immense range of rich, creamy flavors (plus some sugar-free and sherbet). Parking is somewhat tight. Loved it!

Pretty solid ice cream! A bit pricey and not too vast of options, but, the sundae was good and it was definitely a bit of a different thing to try!

Ice cream was very fresh! I got the chocolate almond and I wish it had more almonds but the chocolate flavor was very good. My server didn’t seem super welcoming / friendly but overall great ice cream place! Plenty of outside seating. I got the kid cone and it was only $2.50 !
