If you’re looking for a genuine, homestyle breakfast or a classic comfort-food lunch, Country Kitchen is the place. Walking in feels like a warm hug, with the smell of fresh coffee and sizzling bacon. The menu is packed with all the classics, and they do every single one of them right. My chicken fried steak with gravy was perfectly crispy and tender, and the eggs were cooked exactly how I ordered them. The service is always fast and friendly, with servers who remember your name and keep your coffee cup full. This isn’t fancy food—it’s honest, delicious, and exactly what you crave. A true Tyler treasure!

I ordered and had breakfast delivered 11/09/2025. The breakfast was delicious and filling. The pancake recipe was very flavorful and different from the average pancake spot. Love it. Also was affordable.
I ordered again on 2/01/2026 and the breakfast was STILL GOOD! I forgot that I left a review already but I had to leave another one. These pancakes are from heaven. I wish I could hug the chef. Lol. Woman or man. They are getting a hug for making the best pancakes I’ve ever had.

Reminds you of a mid-grade IHOP. The service wasn’t anything to brag about, I mean the waitress acted like we were a bother, the minute we entered the establishment. And as you see by the video there weren’t any people there, for the service to be so inspiring.
The food was good quality…the only minus was the orange juice being upward $3.50 with no refills (this economy is messing with everything).
I wouldn’t say don’t check them out, I’d never cancel anyone’s business like that. Maybe your experience will be a tad bit better than mine.

Decided to check out the country kitchen next to my studio in Tyler! The hubby and I had lunch and it was really tasty and the service was polite and friendly! Nice environment to sit down and enjoy a quiet little breakfast or lunch!

Great place, ask for Myleigh, she was outstanding! I had the meat lover’s omelette (yummy & filling). My wife had the breakfast burrito (off menu), really good. We will return. We hear there is a new owner, so maybe disregard some of the older comments…

Loved this place. Nice and quiet good food, fast service. Loved having breakfast at lunch time. This is a great IHOP alternative. My 9yr old said Mr, Beast should eat here cause it’s so good. More people need to come eat here so we can keep this place a valuable part of Tyler. They even have board games available for you to hang out and play.

A fine evening meal – 02/22/2023
Can’t rave enough about Ms. Lisa, the team, and the food!
o Wife ordered a waffle with two eggs and two bacon. I had to try the waffle after eating my meal, it was outstanding! We both thought it had the slightest hint of vanilla in the batter. Fluffy and delicious per the better 1/2 and me. The bacon had a great taste as well and was less fatty than you’ll find at other places. Solid plate.
o After flopping between breakfast and dinner, I ordered the Aztec Quesadilla Burger, 86 the four-cheese mix. Had a real beef taste to the burger. The salsa and sour cream were a nice touch. Next time, I’ll have them add jalapenos for a little extra kick. Fries were crunchy and tasty. Another solid meal.
o I almost drooled as someone else ordered pie a la mode, and I watched it walk past me (with the assistance of another fine staff member) but had to pass. The portions were nice and I wasn’t even able to finish my plate (but made room for the two bites of the waffle).
o Corporate had folks in town and I hope they are as pleased as we were. We’ll be back! And next time, I won’t order coffee, to change my mind as it’s delivered.
o Final thoughts. If you want a really tasty meal, in a relaxed setting, with great service, give this place as go. I believe you’ll leave as satisfied as we did.

Staff was great! We had appetizer of cheese curds which was good! Not amazing but would order again. We also ate the “best in town pancakes” which beat IHOP for sure! We also got chicken fried chicken and chicken fried steak and sadly this was the let down. Wasn’t the worse but had better. Luckily the mashed potatoes help saved the dish! Very fresh and flavored. Another note our drinks (tea, strawberry lemonade) was great as well! For our meal it was around 50$. Which a little higher I’d like to spend on a quick 2 person night out but mostly likely matches with our economy on prices.

We wanted to try this restaurant out. And it was very disappointing. Our waitress name was Dulce, and she had a bad attitude. We never got refills. I asked for a refill and got a ok. Our food was all cold. And another waitress brought out our food. When I was paying in the front Our waitress was still not friendly. The food wasn’t good. It would’ve helped if the food was hot or lukewarm when we got it. But I wont ever go back. And I will warn all of you not to go. When we got there their was only 2 tables it was not packed at all. For the service we received it ruined the entire experience for me and my family. If I could leave a 0 star i would.
