It took some time to order but food was hot and came fast. Jayden, The young lady at the counter was very busy working her butt off. She had to call someone from the back to clean tables. If you can be a little patient you’ll have a decent experience. It’s a small town with a small staff. My compliments to Jaiden and the chef! ( sorry young lady I didn’t know how to spell your name)

Nice restaurant with a decent amount of seating, this is my first time being here. Menu was a little bit on the small side but had many breakfast classics and most should be able to find something that they would like to eat. My toast was on the dry side but chicken fried steak hash browns and eggs were very good I will be coming back for more food in the future

The wait staff are friendly. But everything else was just awful. It took 45 minutes to get our food with a nearly empty dining hall, the prices are too high for what you get, and the quality of the food is horrible (see photo). I ordered some honey mustard chicken sandwich plate ($9.99 mind you) and THAT is what I got. The chicken was slimy and questionable cooked. Do not eat here.

The menu was very limited which was sad to see. The restaurant itself wasn’t a comfortable atmosphere. Half the restaurant was closed off from the rest and it was very quiet. The staff was also not very good. They didn’t say much at all. It would be nice to feel like they were at least listening to you. None of them were dressed well either. Sweatpants, Tshirts, and messy hair aren’t very professional. We also had to go up to the counter and ask for refills because no one checked on the tables. The food itself wasn’t very good. Definitely a small restaurant style (not homemade, just small restaurant). It didn’t match the price.

Coffee tasted legitimately toxic, food was waaaay over priced (45$!!!! for two deep fried meals?!?), & The food was so not what you should get for that kind of $$. Condiments, & S/P shakers were crusty & filthy. Just no excuse for what is basically the only restaurant in town to be so icky. First time there & needless to say, we will absolutely never be back. Customer service was decent as the young server we had was trying her best & had a good attitude.

At first, service was good, got me a booth, ask for my drink. I ordered the mix basket that has ribs, onion rings and such. I specifically asked not to have fries in it, as I hadn’t had any for two months to bring down my salt content. She knew I asked as she asked to replace to extra onion rings, to which I said yes.
It took 10 minutes and she just leaves the basket and then walks off! Much to see that it has fries in it!
The whole time I ate, she never returned, never to ask how i was doing, asking of refilling my glass of water, didn’t even give me and towelettes for the Ribs!
Only when I was done and had to use the napkins to wipe myself off did she return and said, “I see they gave you fries anyway.”
So take that what you will, at least the food was warm and tasted good

Met my family here late on a Wednesday. After a 4 hr drive for all of us drive for a car swap. The waitress was super friendly! Food was good! Would be fine making this a future spot to stop between Minneapolis and Dickinson, ND again!

I’ve been to the CK dozens of times and have had a wide variety of experiences. They have the same problem with help that every place has. Food is usually very good to excellent. Service runs from excellent to very poor. If you’re ever in town on a Sunday the buffet is excellent.

Our waitress was new and hadn’t learned the menu yet, then she didn’t bring us what we ordered (we ordered fried eggs and she brought us scrambled, plus no sour cream on the side for an omelette we ordered). The food wasn’t amazing, but pretty good for being part of the included hotel breakfast, but the coupon for the breakfast says dine-in only, so it won’t be convenient for travelers that want to be able to grab something and quickly get the road again. I’m also assuming it is not frequented by locals since we were there at a pretty normal breakfast time on a Saturday morning and hardly anyone was there. If I went back here I would only get pancakes because that was the best part of the meal.
