Both the food and service were horrible. We stayed at the Roadway Inn to bring the boys to the water park. The service at the restaurant for dinner was extremely slow. One of our meals came out after all the rest of us had finished ours. The mashed potatoes were definitely instant out of a box and the gravy was like tar. The chicken fried steak was very small. Overall for the price, it was terrible. Breakfast wasn’t any better. After the service from the night before my brother-in-law went somewhere else to eat even though breakfast was included with our rooms. We had the pancakes and biscuits & gravy. Pancakes weren’t terrible, but the biscuits & gravy were unbearable.

Friendly and cozy little diner area, the breakfast was okay, pancakes weren’t burnt and the bacon was half cold. Had to ask twice for silverware. Took maybe 20 minutes before the waiter even noticed us, and here we sit waiting for a check! 4 stars because everyone was friendly and apologetic, and the coffee was free. Would likely recommend

We went here for dinner. The food was alright but the service was terrible. There where three tables that had people, but we still had to hunt the waitress down twice to refill our drinks. The wait staff would be in the kitchen for 10 minutes at a time. What were they doing? They waitress didnt know the menu either. Why don’t people just take pride in their work?

Food was fine, order came out missing items, service was painfully slow. At 8am the heat was uncomfortable with the fans all on high. The staff was polite and friendly but flustered and overwhelmed by a small rush. I have seen many similar situations handled with ease. Better training and some form of leadership would help many of the issues.

Its hard to mess up free, they can do that and more here. Run dont walk to mcdonalds for a faster and tastier breakfast.
After being told we could seat ourselves in a less the half full dining area we waited 12 minutes to order drink but no menus were given being myself i went and found a few to help get things rolling.
-no silverware give
-orders NOT taken timely and by timely i mean one poor guy had sat there for 38 min he said.
-when ordering cereal was told we got whatever one came put of the box…also they had knock off cheerios which turned out to be kashi brand.
-eggs cooked wrong
-fruit bowl not given
Stay away from this place at all costs!
Especially if you have kids…or dadd should go down order and text when its ready

Horrible service. Never checked on us of the food the entire time. Waited over 45 minutes for food when only 9 people were in the restaurant. I could have shingled a roof with my toast. My food was lukewarm not even hot after the long wait. The biscuits my dad had were like a hockey puck you couldn’t even cut them with a butter knife.

Got food to go to room. Aztec quesadilla burger. Asked them to keep some pink in the meat- they did. Which means it was juicy . Service was prompt. Sorry for no picture but i ate it and then remembered the picture. The hotel has changed ownership and I think they are “fixing” things from previous nagative reviews

The Rodeway Inn gives you a voucher good for one of three very small breakfasts at the County Kitchen. Other than this, as far as I have observed, the Country Kitchen does next to no business.
