This was my wife and I first visit. We sat our selfs and was waited quickly and brought coffee. The menu is easy to read and to the point. Prices are very reasonable and when we got the meal I would say VERY reasonable. The scramble eggs with cheese was perfect and the sausage patties were NOT the half dollar size most places pass off by most. The French toast was not all mushy, also like many dinners give you but I think just right. The waitress was sweet and obviously VERY good at her job as she was greeted by customers with a smile and she knew them by name.. Yes I have not been to a truly comfortable breakfast dinner like this in a long time… It is NOW going to be the only breakfast dinner within a 50 mile radius I will go to. Definitely worth a visit.

Lack of customer service and bland food. The lady pictured literally put her finger up at me and said “I’m in the middle of something. I’m adding,” when I asked her could I order. She literally was doing nothing. When I spoke she picked up her calculator, typed a few things, then came to me after proving she moves when she wants. The omelette meal I ordered was priced at $9.75ish. I added mushroom. After she clicked around on her handy dandy calculator and up-charged me for God knows what…my total came out to $13.31. No problem, had the food been amazing. But it wasn’t. The omelette was very wet. It was completely bland. And they use those uncooked diced ham pieces. I was so disappointed. The potatoes were golden and cooked well. But once again no seasoning. They just threw the toast on top of the wet food. And the ambiance is not welcoming for all. You could tell they treat their regulars a different way than “outsiders”. There’s a lot of yelling information from waitress to waitress. The only person who was kind was a young lady with a neck tattoo. She was helpful. You can tell people at places like this have been getting away with their mediocre “ways” for decades so it’s no use in giving them feedback. In their minds, they don’t need “us” the customers because they’ve made it so long. It’s not right. They should do better. And they should purchase some seasoning salt, adobe, garlic salt, onion powder, or SOMETHING!

Amazing food and prices! Our server was very good and nice. I wish I would have gotten her name. It was very crowded but they got the food out quickly. I got a country fried steak and my mom got the 222 breakfast. We will definitely be back!

Found liver and onions which is rare for me lol. Service was great and their garlic bread is so good. This is our go to place for my friends and I for breakfast anytime or lunch. We love it. We never have any issues. Super affordable.

Been going here to eat for a few years now. It used to be great, but not so much now. The past few times, the food has been mediocre at best. The biscuits were very dry and the gravy didn’t have much flavor. The eggs were cold, and the one slice of Kraft cheese they used didn’t even melt on top. The country fried steak was good. The prices here are very reasonable, and our waitress was wonderful as always. Their service has always been great, I will give them that. I just wished they made their biscuits and gravy with love and flavor like they used to!

First time at Longwood Country Kitchen and we really enjoyed it. We ordered Country Fried Steak with 2 eggs, cup of fresh fruit & a biscuit ($7.99), Eggs Benedict with Home fries ($7.99) and 1 slice of French Toast with a side of bacon ($5.50). Everything was prepared well, the country fried steak had good flavor and I could cut it with my fork. The ham on the Eggs Benedict was also nice, lean and flavorful. This is a decent sized cafe where you seat yourself. Service is good and friendly. The prices here are pretty awesome too. The breakfast menu has just about everything you could want for breakfast. We will definitely be back when we are going to be in the area.

I’ve been 3 times now. Today is my last. Tired of noticing all 3 times, they prefer their regulars. Service– the waitress announced to regulars that came in after us that their waitress no longer worked there, she quit. And then they all proceeded to get served before us. Shouldn’t have been in a rush though, since all three of us had diarrhea after eating here this morning. My two stars is being gracious.

We have not been here in a very long time. Service and food are still great! Nothing has change much and you seat yourself. It’s not a big place. They don’t honor military but do take 5% off your bill if you pay cash.
