If you’re craving a meal that tastes like it came straight from Grandma’s kitchen, this is the place! Everything here is cooked with love and care, you can taste it in every bite. The portions are great, the flavors are amazing, and the atmosphere feels warm and welcoming, just like home. The staff makes you feel like family from the moment you walk in, and the prices are more than fair for the quality and portion sizes. This is the kind of spot you’ll keep coming back to again and again. Truly a gem! Mallory and Hannah are top notch, give it a try for some dang good food.

For the area, this was a great place to eat. We went for breakfast and I thought there were a lot of options. I have no complaints about the food.

The bacon is the very thin style, but it was nice and crispy. I believe the eggs were probably mixed up and backed in the oven. They left them plain, which allows people to season them to their liking. The waffles and pancakes were tasty and were on the thicker side.

You get plenty of food and for a good price. Service was good and great friendly staff.

I really enjoyed this restaurant, and had dined here myself and with my family numerous times (almost weekly at one point) over the years and recommended it to others. Imagine my disappointment when my daughter reached out just to see if they would be interested in donating to a school fundraiser, and she was talked to incredibly rude and nasty. Disappointing, a simple no thank you we can’t do that at this time would have sufficed. Unfortunately now I guess I will move my business to other Big Stone Establishments.

I’ve never had a bad experience with Country Kitchen, their food, products or anything! They even offer to bring your food to your vehicle if you call and tell them where you parked, which is a great feature since they don’t have a drive thru.

Excellent place to eat. The service is awesome. I would much rather eat in a diner like this than a chain restaurant every single day. It reminds me of eating at my grandmother’s house when I was young. You guys keep up the excellent job that you all do. God Bless You All!!

I don’t usually leave reviews like this, but my experience was unpleasant enough that it needs to be said. The owner’s attitude is consistently rude and unprofessional — she seems to have no interest in creating a welcoming environment, which makes the entire dining experience uncomfortable and, honestly, embarrassing. It’s hard to enjoy a meal when you feel like an inconvenience just for walking through the door. To make things worse, the hours are almost never accurate. The place is often closed during posted open hours, or shuts down early without notice. It’s incredibly unreliable. For a town that thrives on small, community-focused businesses, this spot feels like a wasted opportunity — especially when so many others could use the space to actually welcome customers instead of alienating them. The food itself is equally underwhelming. Every dish tastes the same — bland, uninspired, and lacking any real flavor. It’s as if everything comes from the same base and gets reheated with no creativity or care. Between the owner’s behavior, the inconsistent hours, and the forgettable food, there’s really nothing drawing me back here. I’d much rather support places that value their customers and actually want to be open.

Nice country charm, with eclectic heritage of southern history! I recommend tasting whatever tickles your taste buds! I like the chicken wrap!

We ate here for the first time this week. The menu was surprisingly small. Not much in the meat category. They did have a thick slice bologna sandwich which was very good. What food we had was good. But not having any meat on the menu was a bummer.
