This has been one of our favorite places for seafood and steak. The food is always delicious and the service is great. We arrived a little before opening but the sweet ladies inside opened the doors and greeted us warmly. This place has been around for years but sadly because of construction and location it is easy to miss. This is definitely a hidden Gem. From the fresh jumbo fried shrimp to the flaky fried catfish to the juicy steaks and huge baked potatoes you just have to get a taste of everything. The Arnold Palmers were perfectly mixed, we just couldn’t get enough. Overall this place never disappoints. They are in danger of closing and we’d hate to lose them. So if you’re looking for a great Steak or seafood dinner this place is definitely the Spot!

Steak was rare and bloody after asking for medium rare. Also you only get a 4oz sirloin steak, 3 large shrimp a piece of toast and two sides. Tiny bowl of black eyed beans and a very small bowl of a house salad that had one small slice of tomato with lettuce and a couple of strands of carrots for $23.99. They do not honor veterans or seniors. The restaurant has an odor that smells like old mop water. It could use a good renovation. Poor lighting and uncomfortable booths. Also it showed on the menu when you order the Surf N Turf, you can add 3 more jumbo shrimp for $2,99, but we were charged like a separate order at $7.99. Also it said jumbo, but was only large shrimp. Place socks and won’t be back. The $56.24 we paid for our meal would have gotten us a great steak dinner at Texas Road House. Guess where we are going next time?

The food was awful! Grandson had chicken fried steak and it was nasty! I had “catfish” and was cooked in flour and overcooked and then I find out it’s not catfish – it’s Japanese swai! Nastiest stuff ever! The website shows a chicken fried steak as big as your plate and it’s just a small piece of crap! There were a lot of folks there for lunch and the ones that left before us left lots of food on their plates and no tip! 45 dollars wasted on garbage! Neither of us will ever darken that door again! Not to mention the menus had food caked on the back of them! Sanitized when we got to our vehicle! And we heard such great reviews we drove an hour to check it out! We were excited! Gas wasted! Need to shut them down for false advertising! And the ceiling has insulation hanging out in places and some places tiles just hanging! It’s a danger zone!

I really don’t like complaining. I’d really rather have had a great dining experience, but I didn’t. The restaurant was hot, the salad was warm (have you ever had a warm salad?), the catfish didn’t even look like fried catfish, we got a half of a small scoop of mashed potatoes (which had large pieces of the potato skin), drinks were not refilled unless we asked, my mom didn’t get part of her order and did not eat her catfish because it was not palatable…and it took over one hour to even get our meal! The only thing good about my experience there was the company I was with. Sorry for the poor review Country Inn…I really wanted you to be good.

Everything was cooked perfectly and come out as ordered. Do not order the full order of Chicken fried steak, this thing should be a earing challenge. All the food was tasty. Really enjoyed our meal.

I don’t care about atmosphere. Yes it’s old and dated. Been in town for 11 years and never had it. Finally gave it a shot and will be back often. Fried shrimp size and batter best I’ve had. Waitress was fantastic! Please support this place.

It’s not the fanciest of buildings but the food is very good. We both had Ribeye and shrimp. Definitely will be back. Ignore the construction and check it out you won’t be disappointed.
