This is no longer The Country Inn. This is now Simmer Down. Everything on the menu, I mean EVERYTHING on the menu is good. All the food is cook to perfection. Buffet for lunch & order off the menu in the evening. If you haven’t been yet, YOU MUST GO!!!! Oops, I forgot to take a pic of the food, but I remembered the decoration. Lol

Go there often, wonderful food, staff and service! Great steaks and seafood with a large selection on salad bar. Try the Steak for Two, wonderful taste and size and you will probably take some home 🙂 The Country Inn has a long history in Baldwyn, I am 52 but still remember being taken a a kid to the “old home” on Hwy 370 west where it all started. Can say I have never been served bad food or had bad service!

The name has changed to Simmer Down, the food and the service was really good and place has that old hometown atmosphere. Definitely a place to try if you are in Baldwyn.
