Just wanted to place this review here to point out the guest are treated differently based on skin color! I literally watched the lady taking orders hand a Caucasian women her change back in her hand. I’m next in line greeted them had a nice conversation go to stick my hand out for change and boom she places it on the counter! Threw that plate right on in the trash where this whole place belongs! Scared to eat it I WILL BE BACK AS A SECRET SHOPPER AND IT WILL BE RECORDED! This is why you don’t mistreat people because you never know whose in your presence

It’s hard to beat the variety of delicious foods served with a smile at the Country Gossip. Today I had cheesy potato soup and a hot ham and cheese sandwich that were to die for. The chicken gumbo they usually serve on Monday or Tuesday is some of the best I’ve ever eaten. Great pies and banana pudding too. Highly recommend.

Great diner in downtown Stuttgart. Had some amazing chicken and dumplings with cornbread. They make all their food. Nothing fried. The most friendly staff. We were working in town, needed a late lunch, and found this diner. Recommend. They only serve lunch.

The Owner is so nice (takes time to talk to you). Everyone is very polite. A clean establishment. Simple lunch menu with many tasty favorites! And don’t forget dessert…. Homemade!

Great place to get a great lunch as fast as fast food, with a wonderful homecooked meal taste. Everyday has a daily special meal and daily soup, which are each a delicious choice. Only serves lunch, but does it well! Would recommend if ever in town.
