Today was the first time I have been here in 10 or 15 years. I was here now and then 25 years ago when I lived closer. Now I visit eating establishments to try the fare. I am a frugal person that does not desire “high class” meals. I had a hot dog with mustard, onions, and meat sauce, fries, and a diet soda. It was a bit pricey but received a large amount of fries. I have to say I really liked the meat sauce. I also got a kiddy size cone. They had a soft, low fat yogurt. A plus for me. It was good and at a reasonable price. There was a lot of places to sit down. Many picnic tables, under umbrellas and a covered patio with picnic tables. That is where I went. Very comfortable. The only location issue is that it is very close to a semi- busy road. It was surprisingly quiet, however. But one must really be careful pulling back out on to the road. One must also realize, this is a cash only place. Not quite a 5 star for me but more than a 4. All in all, it was an enjoyable lunch and if I am close again, I would stop.

Came here on a Friday night around 7. Wasn’t as busy as I was expecting, which was good news for us. There are around 20 benches and parking both sides of the windows. Food was quick, hot and fresh but I thought was a little pricey for what it is. Large onion rings was $8. Don’t get me wrong, this was enough to feed 3 people and they were very good but at the same time, as that where we are at right now that we need to charge that much? Fries, again large, we much more reasonable and good fries, I’ve had good fries and bad fries in my time, these were good fries. Buffalo chicken sandwich, again a little overpriced for what it was but it was solid enough, nothing to write home about. Ice cream, was a 4/10, flavourless, disappointed here big time.

Overall not a solid experience, can see why it has its charm to many that have been coming for years but with so much choice of similar foods in the area, would not be rushing back anytime soon.

Lovely little drive in a ways off of the 87 with pretty good food. Ordered the chili cheese fries because it’s something I’ve enjoyed for years in Southern California and haven’t really seen offered at many places in the Northeast so was very eager to try. The fries were good, and I make it a point to try Clam Chowder whenever I see it offered on a menu wherever I go, this place is no exception. Their clam chowder was decent, I’ve definitely had worse, but it could have been a lot better. Aside from that the burger my friend had was really good and I can’t wait to go back again sometime this summer to try out their ice cream and dessert selections.

Stopped at The country Drive in with Delimar ,Robert , Nolan and world famous You Tuber Tuber Evan Fernandez . I ordered the the mini hot dogs with chili. Robert ordered the fish sandwich. The kids had a hamburger and chicken fingers and I think Delmar had the clam strips.
Great little road stop for some food and sights .
Thank you .

I’ve had their shakes before and they were good so today I decided to try a sundae. Nothing special, got a large twist with peanut butter and hot fudge. Was disappointed in the amount of ice cream given for a large sundae. It didn’t even appear over the top of the cup. Then the whipped cream felt like it was half the sundae which I wouldn’t mind if it were light and fluffy and cold but this stuff was nasty. I’m wondering if it went bad. And speaking of spoiling, the peanut butter sauce was also “off”. After dumping all the whipped cream and finally getting to taste the ice cream it tasted like custard. So with warm whipped cream, rancid peanut butter and custard like ice cream, it got tossed in the trash. Not worth the $7.72. And since Im not a fan of their prices for the food, I have no reason to go back. The kids behind the counter are awesome though and the place is a cute nostalgic picnic car hop place so they have that going for them.

Been coming here literally my whole life. I used to come at least a couple of times a season. I loved their drummers & fries, but now only get that once every couple of years due to the ridiculously high price, of $12.99, for 5 little pieces of chicken and a small order or fries. Add to that a medium soda for for myself as well as a 1/4 lb. burger, small fry, and small soda for my bf, made the total over $35. The food is good but it’s not THAT good.

Delicious and classic drive in food with great and friendly service. Immaculate and an accessible suburban setting. I am a long term customer, my new favorite is the Fish Taco. Just wonderful! Country Drive In is a treasure.

Nice little spot on the side of the (busy) road. They have lots of little fried food options along with some chicken, burgers, & hotdogs. Ice cream of course as well!

Absolutely loved this place! The food, staff, and atmosphere were all top-notch. We ordered a lobster roll, hamburger, fries, and onion rings—everything was fresh, delicious, and served in huge portions for the price. The lobster roll was especially incredible—stuffed with flavor and generously filled.

They even have vegetarian options, which was a nice surprise. The classic drive-in vibe just adds to the charm. I’d 100% recommend Country Drive-In and will definitely be back!

This place used to be amazing…then it was sold. Prices went up and quality went down.

Used to eat here 2-3x a week throughout the summer and now I go once or twice a year just for nostalgic reasons.

$11 for a grilled chicken sandwich? $9 for a large cheese fry? At a drive-in? That’s insane.

You’re selling a bunch of frozen food from Sysco out of a hut. Why are you price gouging your customers?

Simple answer…because the owners are greedy and are trying to squeeze 12 months of profit out of a seasonal business that’s only open 4-5 months out of the year.
