UPDATE: 10/22/23 THE SIGN LIED THEY ARE CLOSED ALREADY. END UPDATE. Until they close October 31st they have a fantastic new menu I’m posting pics of! The place to be for excellent ice cream! Always ask what the special of the day is, when we went sundaes were on sale and made for a great deal, butterscotch and pineapple for the win! Also a blue moon yogurt twist. Was only like $6 for both. UPDATE: They just remodeled the place and it looks much better. They now have better seating with umbrellas. Went and got a banana malt that was delicious.

Country dairy is a wonderful small business on Harper. The staff is always friendly and the service is quick. Don’t get me started on the food, it’s always delicious and handed to you by a smiling face. 50 years going here and was startled by the sudden shift to small sizes. A “medium” shake is now in the small cup. Maybe 12 oz. Still delicious, but don’t call what was previously small, a medium. I wonder if they have new owners.

We frequent Country Dairy quite often and each time we are met with the most courteous staff and the world’s best ice cream! Most nights the owner Mickey is there to greet us and always asks how our family is doing. This is such a family orientated business with the best menu and we are so lucky to live so close! Hands down the best around St Clair Shores
