My apologies to the cafe for this late review.
My husband and I were in N Wilkesboro and on the way home we decided to get something to eat before we got on 77. I pulled to the side of the road and googled restaurants near me. The Country Corner Cafe was one of the options that came up. We check how far away we were and decided to go.
When we found it, we were surprised at how small it seemed but figured the location would guarantee good food and we were right. We walked in, and my mouth started watering just from the smell of the food. My husband got a bbq plate and I got a double bacon cheeseburger. FYI- the burger patties were good size and perfectly cooked. Moist, flavorful and tasty. My husband said the bbq was delicious and just right. The hush puppies were were golden and moist. They were good.
We live about an hour and a half away and will definitely be making the trip back.

This place is small. Not many tables but absolutely amazing food. My friend and me both got the salt and pepper catfish. Gave us two huge pieces of fish. She got fried squash and buffalo chops with hers. I got baked potato and onion rings. Our daughters got burgers. And u definitely get ur bang for ur buck. And the waitress there works her butt off. Was very impressed.

Great food at an unassuming little cafe in the heart of Ronda. The bacon & pimento cheeseburger is a MUST TRY, and so is the chicken salad on Texas toast. The huspuppies and corn fritters are incredible and the prices at this place are unbeatable too. Can’t wait to go back!

The only reason the atmosphere doesn’t get five stars is because it’s a small spot but the food and the service is amazing. If you haven’t tried it, you should especially their omelettes. I’m not posting a picture because it’s already half eaten lol

This hidden gem has a warm and welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff and charming decor. This is a must try for a taste of authentic, homestyle cooking. The porkchop sandwiches are tender, juicy, with perfectly seasoned breading that gives them a delightful crunch.

Favorite with the locals… It’s the kind of place where they get to know your name and your regular order. No frills just good food and friendly folks.
