Had a really nice Southern-style meal here. Everything tasted homemade and comforting — tender meat covered in rich gravy, creamy mashed potatoes, and well-seasoned green beans just like you’d expect from a good Southern kitchen. The portions were filling, the food came out hot, and the flavors were spot on. Simple, hearty, and satisfying. Definitely hits the spot when you’re craving a classic Southern meal.

This was a nice little find my father and I saw in Lucama. The staff that was working was incredibly friendly, attentive and descriptive when it came to the food options!

I had the chicken salad, yams, and sweet peas… I know, kind of a strange combo, but WOW. Each dish was so well done I could honestly make a whole meal out of just one of them . The chicken salad was fresh and seasoned perfectly, the yams were rich and comforting, and the sweet peas had that perfect balance of flavor that made me want to go back for seconds.

The service was just as warm as the food, and the atmosphere made me feel right at home. Country Cooking by Faith is exactly what good southern food should taste like—done with love and done right.

Can’t wait to come back and try more!

Today was our first time dining here. The rib/chicken plate and hamburger steak were both delicious. The portions were huge, we each had leftovers for lunch! We’ll definitely be back!

My first visit here for breakfast and I would go back. Food was pretty good but, they give you too much food. My friend said it looked like she had a half dozen of scrambled eggs on her plate and the pancakes where big as the plate. Overall it was ok.

Let’s start with the BLT, was asked if I wanted mayo and I said yes but didn’t get it so asked for mayo on the side and was brought maybe a half of teaspoon in a cup. The Tomato was 2 grape tomatoes cut in half, just say you have no tomatoes. The menu showed collards but was told they didn’t have any, which was fine until the next couple asked for collards and they got them. Potato Salad, we asked if it had pickles and was flat out told by our waitress and the cook that no pickles were in it, guess what, when it came out, you could see the pickles.
We look at as an adventure to check out new smaller restraunts but this one we just wont go back to.

Chicken was cold, sanitation score is a 93, flies and gnats in your face. We contemplated leaving before the food arrived. Lemons had small black flecks of dirt or something on them when served and soda was flat. How can customers be served cold food? The sides were hot and fine but the main entree was dry and cold. Won’t be returning.

Had breakfast, ordered a Big Mouth platter. They were out of ham but paid full price. Sausage patty was lkke eating a left over reheated hamburger. Bacon overcooked inedible. Home fries overcooked inedible. Eggs were properly cooked. French toast was good, pancake was not. Prices sre reasonable. Wait staff good. This place dosen’t rate a second visit. Very dissatisfied with the food.

Has great potential. Some pretty awesome staff. Only downfall was our waitress seemed to forget about us most of the time but the other staff made up for it. Food could be just a little bit warmer when it comes out but overall a hidden gem in the area.
