Well I finally gave country Chicken a try.
Let’s just say I will definitely be back.
I had the fish and chicken combo with collards and Mac.
Fish and chicken was seasoned well as were the collards (Mac was ok)
Can’t wait to try the other items on the menu.

First time coming and honestly I was surprised!!! Once I saw the line I know this was gonna be the spot. I got the 3 piece with a side of collard greens and coleslaw. The chicken was PROPERLY seasoned and sooooooo juicy, the collard greens melted in my mouth the coleslaw was not overly sweet all in all 10 out of 10 will def take the drive again

1st time today. We ordered few items to try. Gizzards, fry’s, 4 piece chicken wings with baked beans, potato salad, 2 piece fish (1 with corn meal), and ice tea.
Review: everything taste so good and will go back when we are in town. Our gizzards were not crunchy and lacked batter but think that is because the container was shut when hot. When we get home will place in air fryer. Everything else tasted great and had flavor. We received free slice cake and it tasted great. Great fine for us and will come back.

It looks like an old gas station that has been converted to a walk-up window. The drive-thru was out to the main street so we decided to walk up and I think the drive-thru was faster than walking up so calling your order first. Fantastic fried chicken delicious sides and the chicken livers were really good.

This place is a “must stop”… Especially if you like Southern Fried Foods. They have the absolute BEST fried Chicken Gizzards (the most tender gizzards ever!) and Livers. I used to stop here 30 years ago, on my way to college (night school), and eat a 50/50 mix of livers and gizzards. It was my meal most nights on my way to school (Lakeland FL to Tampa FL). I’m happy to say, 30 years later, the food is still amazing!

Excellent customer service soon as we got here, polite, and the food was accurate everything was hot and fresh. You have to wait but hey you got to wait for good food.
