Great tasting food and friendly service. I ordered the catfish nugget dinner with hand-cut fries. The only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars, is the lack of catfish nuggets. There could have been a few more in basket, but like I said everything else was great especially the service.

For a gas station diner. It’s pretty good. My only complaint was the size of the tenderloin. It wasn’t big enough to cut in half. I think the sandwich would be the better option! Our service was great! My only suggestion is making your tenderloin bigger ( when doing a hot tenderloin) It definitely wasn’t a pre-frozen tenderloin!

Great service by Jaidynn and Emilee!! I just enjoyed the Best crisp and delicious Tenderloin Sandwich in this friendly Country Cafe..in the Chiefs Kingdom Kansas City! Just taste the flavor.. and your mouth will agree!. because the Chef Kevin knows how to work the Grill and deliver the most flavorful foods from the kitchen!

Don’t ever order the taco salad, it was absolutely horrible. It’s a regular salad in a ceramic bowl with 3 single rings of red onion and one little tomato wedge. They fry a hamburger patty that they sprinkle with taco seasoning, chop up after it’s cooked and serve on a side plate. Instead of a taco shell bowl, it seemed like they fried a flour tortilla and cut it into wedges like a chip so it was corroded with oil and very chewy. Menu said it came with mexiranch dressing but server didn’t know what I was talking about. No sour cream, asked for salsa and she brought cocktail sauce.

Breakfast at Country Cafe inside the Trex Mart at exit 20 on I-29. Arrived when it opened at 6 am, greeted warmly and promptly served. I was the only one eating there for the entirety of my visit. Classic rock playing in background, with a tv praying weather and news. Rustic, farm atmosphere. Many pictures and historical mural of the local Platte County Fair. Well done. Food was served hot and ready, slightly undercooked in my opinion. It was good. Toast was great. Friendly service.

I recently went to the Country Cafe for the first time with my family of 4 after my son’s basketball game. We were all extremely tired and hungry and looking forward to a good home cooked meal. Our server, Bethany, was sweet, but I could tell she took on too many tables. She completely forgot about us. She was occupied with other matters and didn’t even take our order until around 25 minutes after getting our drinks. The other workers seemed sweet and welcoming, but I guess we just weren’t lucky with our draw. Great food, though. I’m sure great service, too, it was just kind of busy.

Food was good but service sucked. Ordered coffee and it was COLD I was told they were making fresh but still never got that hot cup of coffee, even told the waitress she could microwave the cup I had just to get a hot cup and she refused because I was going to get a nice hot cup and that never happened and it was my first and my last time there

The girls on the weekends rock! I meet a friend here every other weekend for breakfast and we always get great service and they are very friendly and polite. No complaints about the food either.

I really like the Country Cafe. I really don’t understand why a person can’t substitute breakfast potatoes for hash browns on their breakfast special. The waitress tells me it’s a “ speed thing “ they have the hash browns premade, and it takes too long to make fresh breakfast potatoes. I go 3 to 5 times a week, I don’t want to go somewhere else, but I’m thinking maybe I will. They could give an either/or choice, I don’t mind waiting a few minutes. I think maybe it should be more about the customer and not the kitchen.
