Delicious food, very attentive and quick service. Friendly atmosphere in the diner is so cute. My husband’s huevos rancheros were particularly delicious with a hint of spice. Their salsa was amazing! I had eggs and waffles which were also delightful.

Worst experience I have ever had. When we got there, there were not any other customers. It took almost 10 mins just to get our drinks ordered because the lady working was facetiming a friend. I ordered chili and a house salad, my fiance ordered a cheeseburger and fries. It took almost 30 mins for the food to come out and when it did, it was barely luke warm. My fiance asked for a well done burger, it was still pink inside. Our meal cost almost $40! We will never go back here again, which bums me out since 20-25 yes ago it was a favorite place to go

Not much interested in “atmosphere” when going out for breakfast. Just want good food, prepared well, and served in ample portions. C.C. delivers on all three points and at what I think is a very reasonable price. (A special shout-out goes to the couple who owns & operates Country Cafe. They’re friendly and very attentive, but never disruptive.) It’s become our regular stop for breakfast out.

I visited this diner because sir hobos was closed for a family vacation. And I was NOT disappointed.

The pancakes are immaculate. Honestly best pancakes I’ve had in a long while. Fluffy but crispy at the sides. Exactly like mom would wake you up with on Saturday mornings.
I would say the atmosphere is very ideal for a diner. They are kind enough to print large examples of food you’re waiting to receive. The ambiance is a quiet nod to the early 2000’s Tuscany kitchen remodel.
And I love that they kept the old stainless steel coffee thermos. And they do a great service to the city of sun prairie for all the kindness they show the geriatrics. Dispite some of them being quite nasty to the staff. Wait staff – I see you and the patience you so undeservedly give.
I did have to remove a skunk point because there was an onion on my pancake (not very big but I was still disappointed) and the hash browns were mid.
Basically grandmas right, visit this place

This is a bit of a hidden gem. I was expecting a greasy spoon kind of diner and was pleasantly surprised that I could find pretty healthy options on the menu. I am gluten-free, so I did no bun on my burger, but I will say that the buns looked great! There are also the typicaly greasy spoon diner options on the menu. The service was fast and attentive and it wasn’t super busy. And the prices were very reasonable ($60, which included a generous tip, for three people). Would definitely recommend!

Average fare…. Oddly enough the taco meat is chili…. See pics… Weird! Prices are a little high for the area and the food. Also a little slow on Sunday morning. The best thing about this place is the staff. They are super nice and very accommodating. We will be back but will probably choose a different time and not more chili doused entrees.

They have big portions without being crazy expensive.
I got my food quickly, the waitress was very polite, the food was delicious and filling!
I like how it is a very peaceful old school dinner feel as well!
