Where do I begin, of course I hit the floor and I have been to this casino many times and the floor has always been honest and fun.

But tonight I celebrated my 25th birthday and council and oak (the steakhouse inside the casino) did everything right. The teams professionalism, their humor, and knowledge of wine was nothing short of amazing.

My wine paired great with my streak, all 7 meals at the table were cooked to perfection. Since the GM was out on PTO Mr Mark was leading the ship and did a phenomenal job at it! The server Mr Gregory was also the best.

This is my 2nd time dining at council and oak, and it will not be my last time! My first time was a curated 5 course meal with wine pairings so I didn’t get the individual experience that you would at a birthday dinner. This time around I got the intimate experience and was not disappointed! Hard rock, I hope you take good care of the staff here. They are worth every penny!

Thank you to the team at council and oak, and thank you to hard rock for the laughs and joy you provided last night!

This was my first time dining here with my fiancé. We were genuinely blown away every moment of the evening. From the comfortable booth, detailed food and wine list, the ambiance, everything was elegant. Every single course we got was prepared beautifully and tasted soo amazing. Our servers Gregory and Berhan were very kind and took great care of us. Even the manager Josh went out of his way to stop by our table and make our first experience so special. This is currently our new favorite spot and we can’t wait to return!

We came for restaurant week. For $56 you got a salad or soup, a choice of entree, and carrot cake dessert.
The restaurant was loud but vibrant and very tasteful. The chairs we sat in were plush but clean.
The rolls were small and salty and the butter was good, seasoned.
I chose the chopped salad and my husband got the Caesar. Both were good, the ceasar dressing was delicious.
I chose the filet and he chose the strip. We ordered both medium but didn’t realize the strip was bone in so it was much less cooked than expected. Both steaks were good and my husband thought the best we’d had to date, even topped our bisteaka in Florence Italy! There was some kind of rub or seasoning on the steak that was slightly sweet but not offputting, hints of cinnamon and cardamom. The maitredee butter was butter with seasoning, garlic, and goodness on top of the steak. I only wish it hadn’t been ice cold, it really cooled down the meat sooner than it needed to be. For sides I got mashed potatoes and he paid $2 extra for the loaded baked potato. Worth it for the extra, the bacon is thick cut more of a pancetta. I don’t care for gravy but it was actually delightful, tasted like a red wine sauce. So good.
The carrot cake was fine, the icing is light almost like a whipped cream. We asked for it to go because we were full and sampled it later at home. Overall this meal was well worth it. We each also got a larger pour of Pinot grigio (can’t remember size) for $20 a pop. Grand total was $167 before tip. It was well worth the experience, the restaurant is so expensive on a regular day that we felt it was a steal to get to sample it. Also the service was good, waitress was around but not over present and there was a young lady for water, clean up, and who brought bread to the table and she did a nice job. I saw the manager around but he didn’t come to our table, had he I would have told him they did a nice job. 10/10, exceeded expectations. Would come again if they offered a meal deal to try some different menu selections.

This was my first experience here last night and the service was fantastic, the atmosphere good and peaceful, however the food. Not so much. We had an appetizer and some salads. Which were good. Up until the entrees came. My husband got the wagyu steak and I got the lamb. I asked for medium. My husband asked for medium well. Both of our entrees came out and we cut into them and they were the rarest of rare that you could possible imagine. When we addressed it with the waitress she was very polite about the situation but assured me both items were “cooked”. They were sent back and still came back practically rare. The manager of course apologized and was also respectful but I was very disappointed with our entrees

My friends and I (party of 8) came here recently for my 40th birthday. Josh the GM made it an unforgettable experience! Food was great and our server, Gregory, was amazing! One person in our party had an issue with the steak and Josh had it fixed within minutes! And definitely leave room for dessert!

First time eating here. And it was for my birthday and they didn’t disappoint. Our server, Ludo was amazing. The steak(and I believe most of the food) is cooked on an open flame grill. Top notch service and food. Our whole table ordered porterhouse steaks, and they arrived cooked to correct temp(mid rare). Funnel cake dessert was also very very good! Would definitely come back. Josh the Maitre’ de was also amazing and needs to be mentioned along with the server helper- Skylar. All made for an amazing experience

My husband and I were in town for leisure this was our first time at this establishment. Our server Gregory was great very helpful and professional answered all questions about the menu. He made us feel very welcomed and offered recommendations I tried the Faroe Island Salmon with Maple Sweet Potato, my husband had the Porter House steak with Macaroni and cheese. Food quality was amazing and the portions seasoning was next level. The bread was very soft. Would definitely recommend and looking forward to returning this is a must try. Gregory thank you for your outstanding customer service greatly appreciated

We love coming here for the Thursday half-off bottles of wine, especially since it’s right inside the Hard Rock. It’s become a regular part of our casino nights for a reason.

The servers are outstanding knowledgeable, confident, and they know the menu inside and out. Their recommendations are always spot on. The food has been consistently great, and on the rare occasion something isn’t up to our standards (or theirs), the manager fixes it immediately whether that’s offering a complimentary dessert or discounting the dish. You feel taken care of.

The server assistants don’t miss a beat, topping off your glass after every sip. It genuinely feels like VIP treatment every time we walk in.

Even the hostess is friendly and accommodating, which sets the tone right away.

If there’s one knock, it’s the bar. The service over there just doesn’t compare to the restaurant side the difference is noticeable.

Inside the dining room, though? Consistently a five-star experience.

We’re on our anniversary trip and driving through Cincinnati and decided to try out a steakhouse. We are so glad that we did! Both our meals were absolutely delicious and we couldn’t have been happier with our service. I had the Faroe Island Salmon and fried Brussel sprouts and every bite was a party in my mouth. My husband had the Filet Mignon with Oscar topping and whipped potatoes and his steak was melt in your mouth amazing! His only issue was salt but that’s because we don’t use it at home so it’s very obvious when we are eating elsewhere and we definitely aren’t going to complain when the food was this good!

Our waitress even surprised us with an anniversary dessert, and my husband said it was one of the best sweet treats he’s had.

We enjoy a trip to the casino occasionally and loved that we found this kind of meal in the casino.

The only thing we found strange was the lack of seating for 2. They have very large tables and booths or hightop and bar seating but nothing for couples looking for a bit more private dining..
