We had an incredible experience at Council Oak Steak & Seafood! Our waitress Sue was absolutely wonderful — warm, attentive, and perfectly timed everything so we could enjoy a full dinner before heading to our show. She made sure our evening ran smoothly without ever making us feel rushed.
The food was just as impressive as the service. The melting burrata was heavenly — creamy, flavorful, and the perfect start to the meal. The mac and cheese was rich, decadent, and honestly one of the best we’ve ever had. Every dish came out quickly and perfectly prepared.
We couldn’t have asked for a better pre-show dining experience — excellent food, top-notch service, and a team that clearly cares about their guests. We’ll definitely be back!

My boyfriend and I celebrated our one-year anniversary at Council Oak this evening, and it was absolutely unforgettable. From the start, Bailee, the host who helped make our reservation, was so kind and accommodating. We were seated in a lovely booth (103) with a warm view of the entire dining room, including the semi-open kitchen where the talented chefs and line cooks were hard at work. The live jazz band at the front of the restaurant added a romantic, timeless touch to an already incredible atmosphere.
Our server, Sue, was wonderful—she brought the perfect balance of education and humor to our dining experience, making us feel both welcomed and entertained. The support team—Dion, Addy, Jared, and Brandon—was exceptional as well, keeping our drinks full and ensuring fresh bread was always on the table (we had four rounds!).
For dinner, I enjoyed the filet mignon while he had the skirt steak, and we shared the melting burrata and buttermilk whipped potatoes, which were phenomenal. To top it all off, the staff surprised us with a beautiful assortment of delicious desserts to celebrate our anniversary.
Thank you to the entire Council Oak team for helping make this weekend so special. Every detail—from the service to the atmosphere—made for a perfect evening we’ll always remember.

We went for valentines day and honestly this was the best ny strip steak ive ever eaten in my life. We went for brunch and I could’ve stayed there all day just to eat that steak. The ONLY reason im giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the price was too steep for my liking. If it had been just $10 less per person then I wouldve given 5 stars and I wouldve tipped alot more than 20% also. The lady at the Omlette counter was also very friendly and all the staff were at least kind to you. The live music was also wonderful that guy can really sing!

Tonight was our one year marriage anniversary so we chose Council Oaks to celebrate. The food was phenomenal. The ramp butter on the pork chops was amazing!! My husband’s crab pot was delectable! Our server Jessie was also so great. She really knew the menu and made our evening feel special. At the end of our meal, we received a delicious brownie. This is the best meal we’ve ever had! We will definitely be back.

By far the best food in all of the Tri-Cities! We are locals and have tried about every upscale restaurant around and this one gets our vote as the best. Steaks are cooked absolutely perfect. We tried many different items on both trips so far…calamari, squid, salads, steaks, oysters. Everything is simply amazing. Taylor was our first server and probably one of the best we have had in the area. Atmosphere and drinks are also top notch. Everyone we have come into contact with here as well as the food are superior to all other upscale dining similar in the area. Going for our 3rd time tonight! *chefs kiss*

High class feel but relaxing environment. Staff is very helpful and accommodating. Our server was great. Knowledgeable about the menu and casino and had fantastic recommendations from the menu. I thoroughly enjoyed the beet salad and crab cakes and octopus appetizer (try it, it’s super tender). The 28 day dry aged ribeyes were delicious and perfectly seasoned and grilled. Sides are served family style. All in all, a very enjoyable experience. We will be back for more!

We started with a perfectly crafted French 75 and a rich, flavorful lobster bisque that set the tone for the evening. For our main course, we ordered the grain-fed filet mignon and the New York strip. Both were cooked to perfection, tender, and full of flavor. The sides were equally impressive: the four cheese mac and cheese, creamed spinach, and potatoes au gratin were indulgent and absolutely delicious.
But the true standout of the night was our server, Sue. She was incredibly attentive, warm, and made us feel like family. She even gave us a hug on the way out! It’s rare to find that level of hospitality these days. I would go back in a heartbeat, and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a top-tier steakhouse experience.

Absolutely unbelievable experience! The food was divine, the porterhouse with asparagus and potatoes Au graten are a must! Brittaney our server was attentive, informed, polite and everything else! She even had a celebratory dessert platter brought over as we celebrate our baby moon! An incredible evening made even better by the service Brittaney provided! An absolute must try when visiting Hard Rock Bristol!

The steaks are excellent. I enjoyed the bone in NY strip cooked medium rare and it was perfectly cooked. The Ceasar salad is excellent. They have a nice selection of good wines and cocktails. Our waiter was very attentive. The atmosphere is relaxed. The background music can make conversations a challenge.
