I particularly loved the shrimp and grits, Mac n cheese, Brussels, and fish dip.
The food was excellently seasoned! Our server Asia was so nice and kept us well fed and watered the entire time and her suggestions for food to try were some of my favorites.
We had wings, a Caesar salad, and clams frites, with a side of brussel sprouts, crab rice, and corn bread. Every single thing was amazing. Often you go to a restaurant and remember that one great thing but the meal was an 11/10 from top to bottom.
I almost forgot about dessert! Get the peanut butter pie and thank me later!
I made reservations but I think walk in is possible. I would make a reservation to be sure. Upscale menu but casual atmosphere. Other tables included couples, friends, and young families. This is a casual date night spot from my experience but the price is more of a special occasion spot.
I was going to order the Uni Appetizer. However, that evening ‘s Appetizer Special was Roasted Local Oysters on the Half Shell.
I opted to order the Sous Vide Yellow Beet Salad with Kale, Ricotta, and I switched out Cashews for Candied Pecans.
My dining companion had a Full Sized House Salad. This was actually large enough to be dinner if paired with a protein.
I had the Local Trout and Savannah Red Rice with Blue Crab.
My dining companion had the Appetizer Shrimp and Grits with Carmelized Onions.
Dessert was House Made Candy Bars with Shortbread, Caramel, Milk Chocolate, Whipped Creme Fraiche.
When we walked in we were greeted by a very friendly manager named Simon who sat us immediately.
Our server Patrick was outstanding. He was professional, helpful, personable and made great recommendations.
The food was excellent and delicious! The Uni Bucatini, Crispy Chicken Wings, Beet Salad, Trout and Peanut Butter Pie were all exceptional! The cocktails were also fantastic. The best Cuba Libra ever!
Overall, it was an awesome dining experience. I highly recommend stopping by and experiencing it yourself!
My partner and I visited Savannah for the first time and this restaurant, Cotten and Rye was recommended to us. It’s a rustic and relaxed feel with southern food made with love.
What stood out for us however was Brenden who took care of us for the evening. He knew his menu in and out. Including the wine selection. He was professional, attentive and well informed. He honestly made our night easy to navigate and was kind. Thanks Brenden!
