This is an updated review, I had given them a 4/5, but I’ve been back a few times, and they really deserve a 5/5. The service is much better than the first time I came in, I just hit it first time on a bad day. Service since has been consistently excellent, they have awesome salads and specials, I love their chicken dumplings (in NC we called it chicken stew). It has a really friendly Texas vibe, lots of parking, great location. I highly recommend it!

We had a beautiful and sweet waitress…I do not want to misspell her name but it started with an A! She was A+!!! Service 5 stars …food was 3.5. Salmon okay -sweet potato was overcooked but I ate it all! The broccoli rice casserole was 5stars!!!!

GM Chris and his entire team were amazing! Best we’ve seen at our location in at least 5 years. Everyone looked like they loved their job, and really enjoyed being there. Very refreshing sight to see now days with food servers. Whatever they’re doing to train and motivate their staff, EVERYONE needs to be doing it. This location deserves a huge pat on the back. Love this location. Tonight (1/15/26), Dawson was our server and he was GREAT! Attentive, knowledgeable of the menu and he took great care of us. Not to mention he was hilarious! We had so much fun with him! Best experience we’ve had here in a while. We frequent Cottonpatch Cafe and had a blast tonight! Thank you for another wonderful dinner experience!

1st and last time visiting this restaurant. I was seated quickly and ignored for the next 15 mins. No server stopped to offer so much as a water, with several walking by, so I walked out without any employees saying a word. I know places get busy, but this place was not busy and just failed 100%. The food looked good but hard to know if they don’t give you a chance to order. Good luck folks.

Came here yesterday and had no intent of writing this but as a former manager myself I felt the need to draw attention to this. Me and my husband came last night, food was great, wish I could say the same about the team. A lady with glasses and dark hair was yelling so loud at employees that we could hear from all the way in the back of the restaurant where we were seated. We should not have been able to hear from how far away we were but also made me disgusted to know that this woman (who I presume is a manager but I may be wrong) would speak to other employees in such a disrespectful way. Me and my husband truly enjoy the food and every time we come the servers are excellent but I do not want to come back having to witness such inappropriate behavior coming from authority figures. Please do something about this.

I had a great experience at this restaurant, and a big part of that was our server, Rebecca. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect the whole time i was there. She really made me feel welcome and took great care of me. I’ll definitely be coming back and hope to have her as our server again!
