Ordered from Door dash. Knew better. Received a partial order. Door dash refund on missing mashed potatoes and cornbread. Small portions of meat. 2 orders. Will not order from here again. FYI. If you order from here it will be wrong. Or you got very lucky. P.S. I had to throw the old and moldy broccoli away.

My family and I have been coming here for years. We’ve always been content with the food and service, however, lately this place seems to have gone downhill. This last time we went out for lunch, the waitress was short with us and she was actually a bit rude to our table. We were a big party, 12 of us, that can be stressful in of itself so we decided to look over that. We were not getting refills, we had to ask for bread. Usually our server just brings it to our table without question. Next the food comes out and I see a hair in my corn. I didn’t want to make a scene, or ruckus so I quietly asked the waitress to take my corn as it had a hair in it. She took the corn and left to the kitchen. No apology. No reduction on my check. No complimentary nothing. The very least she could’ve done was take the plate off my check and apologize, but no. I don’t remember her name but she was a younger girl with long red/orange hair. This was on 2/5/23 @ approximately 2:41 pm. I’ve taken some time to decide if I wanted to share my experience, but at this point my family will not be returning.

Foods pretty good. It was average to me. Had the country fried steak with potatoes and squash. The squash was good. My friend had the bacon filet. He said it was cooked good. Just wish there was still a gluten free menu. Waited a bit to be served but ok

Normally we order online and pickup bit it was my son’s birthday and he wanted to eat there. We had a party of 10. 7 adults and 3 kids. Prior to us arriving at the restaurant my husband and son were starving and I knew it would take awhile for some of our party to show so I ordered and paid for an appetizer online so that it would already be ready when we got there and we would eat on it immediately once we sat down but that did not happen. I asked as soon as we arrived about our appetizer. They had not even made it. It did not appear on our table until 3 inquires after…..then they tried charging me AGAIN on my final receipt after I already paid online. The waitress could not seem to get our receipts correct and shoved our table onto the manager to close out which I thought was very unprofessional but I still decided to tip her well because I realize it is a hard job and who know what she was going through….

The service was excellent. It’s been a while since I was here. Was always good comfort food. Fried catfish was a little over cooked. I was put in a section that was not assigned to any server. But was noticed by a waiter who made the visit exceptional. Work on the food.
