First time here at the cotton patch in rockwall. Came here with the family on a Friday. Feb. 27th. Sam ,our waiter, was amazing and excellent customer service. One of the best I’ve seen in the industry lately. Food was also great. Pleasantly surprised how homemade some items were and made with love. Not to bad prices as well. Food is only as good as the awesome service you get and Sam again made it a 6 star review if I could. I will be back.

We stopped here to get dinner, our first time and our last. The food was horrible, I had turkey and dressing, broc / rice casserole, and mashed potatoes. Omg it was not good at all the only thing that was good was the cranberry sauce and the rolls except for the first one that I spreaded with this cinnamon butter thinking it was a savory spread like garlic butter, well that cinnamon, that cinnamon O boy it just wasn’t suppose to be especially if you don’t know. Our waitress was very nice. Like I mention before we won’t be returning ever. It was a nasty experience.

From the moment we walked in it was very welcoming. Hayden s. was awesome. Great service from such a young lady. We really enjoyed this location very clean. I tried the grilled shrimp it was delicious with a baked potato . My Husband got the chicken fried chicken, and my son the triple cheese bacon burger. Zero complaints and for dessert we got funnel cake fries with melted white chocolate we loved them. I definitely recommend this location.

Our server – Tristan L was the best! Top notch food and friendly service. Everything was delicious. They kept our cups full and made sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend coming here as much as you can!

Went here with a few CP afionados. I ordered the chicken fried steak which imo should be a no-brainer here. They did not disappoint! The table rolls are plentiful and they don’t need any butter at all. Too full for cobbler – I’m sure it would be fine though.

Overall decent food and good service. The chili was a bit greasy and not the best overall..my wife’s salad was really good though. The place needs a good upper level cleaning for all the dust on the fans and ductwork. I would try again I think.

I was acknowledged and seated quickly. My server was great. He was attentive and courteous. My ordered was prepared with minimal wait time. The Caesar salad was really good. I asked for additional croutons and my server brought me plenty. The chicken fried steak was delicious. The gravy was flavorful. I wasn’t a huge fan of the mashed potatoes. I didn’t mention it because I didn’t want to wait for a replacement side. The carrot cake was good as well as the Arnold Palmer. Just all around good experience despite the less than stellar potatoes.

Abundant seating arrangements, to-go order was ready and the staff very pleasant to talk to. Perhaps when I’m passing through again I will stop by for a longer pit stop. Didn’t realize that I had been missing an above average dining experience.
