I wish I’d had the presence of mind to have read reviews before buying, but like others who purchased the salted caramel swirl cheesecake from Costco I found it dreadful. The worst cheesecake I’ve ever eaten. It was far to sugary and far too dense. I am not sure whether this experience is just limited to this particular cheesecake. It may be just an unfortunate mistake in the recipe or the specific batch which was sent to Costco.

I purchased the salted caramel swirl cheesecake from Costco today (12/6). I must say I will be returning it tomorrow. It’s by far the nastiest cheesecake I’ve ever had. The taste is like pouring table salt and sugar into a bowl and eating it with a spoon . I was going to trash it, and take the $25 lost. But, I want my money back.

I purchased an original cheesecake from Cotton Blues at Costco in Mobile, AL, on December 7, 2025. When I asked about one of the insulated bags, Doug told me he thought the last one had already been given out and continued to sit in his chair, unbothered, without checking. I found this lack of effort and attentiveness very frustrating. The staff member who handed me the cheesecake also did not mention anything about the insulated bags.
Afterward, I walked around for a while to see if anyone else after me was given a bag—and they were. This made the situation even more disappointing. Doug mentioned that the bags were for people traveling long distances, yet he never asked how far I was traveling.
I normally do not leave anyone a bad review, but today was particularly aggravating for me. Life is too precious to live in a way that misleads people—it’s only a bag, and customer interactions should be handled with honesty and care. You never know who you’re encountering, so treating people the right way should always matter.
Overall, I was very disappointed with the customer service and the lack of consideration for customers.

Always seeking new and better products – Bought these in Gristedes Markets, NYC. Fine crust, delectable. So rich, particularly so, that a portion of each could even be saved for the following day. I’ll take Mississippi Cheesecake from Cotton Blues any day. Something tells me guests over holidays will, too. Certified U Kosher dairy for those being Kosher Kool !

So my daughter wanted cheesecake and I didn’t know what to get her at HEB. I stopped at the bakery and the price was a little steep. Then I went further to the frozen area and I saw these 1 slice frozen cheesecakes and I said let’s give them a chance plus the 50¢ off even more enticing. I left it out for her and when she got home she said OMG this is the best cheesecake I’ve ever had. So I took a bite and she is not lying. It’s so delicious. It’s the caramel one yummmy

I love cheesecakes, but the one I bought at the supermarket was a huge disappointment. Based on the packaging, I thought it would be better than other frozen cheesecake brands, but it turned out to be the worst I’ve ever had. It’s overly sweet, too heavy, and doesn’t taste like cheese at all

Overall a decent cheesecake, it is on the pricier side and you better like sugar because it’s almost to the point of being to much, if they would cut some of the sugar from the recipe this would be by far the best cheese ive ever eaten.

Just purchased single slice plain Cotton Blues cheesecake from Publix in Sunrise, Florida. I love cheesecake. I’m an older guy and you can’t con me about cheesecake. I LOVED IT. I ate 1/2 the slice and I’m wanting to save the rest for my son. I’M TRYING TO BE STRONG BUT I DONT THINK I CAN HOLD OUT. Wonderful product.
