Shame on me for not leaving a review sooner, I was under the presumption that I had done so months ago!
Cottage Rose is easily my favorite local coffee shop to go to, and I’ve been to dozens in an attempt to find what is truly the best in the Madison area. Laura and her staff are incredibly sweet, the food and drinks are always flawless, and the specials make for interesting ways to try something new! Not only this, they frequently work together with other local businesses and host tons of fun events, showing just how much they care about local communities.
Cottage Rose is everything good about supporting and being in a community, and I will never stop enjoying everything they have to offer here. I could go on forever praising their work here, but then this review would begin to miss the point!

My absolute favorite coffee shop! The owner always goes above and beyond to make every experience there perfect. Cozy atmosphere, good food, great company, and best of all…this coffee shop has books!

I am obsessed with CottageRose! Laura runs a wonderful business. The food is great and the drinks are perfect! The service is quick and incredibly friendly. The atmosphere is just right for a coffee shop. I have worked from here for a couple of hours and it was a good place to get things done. It’s very community focused and just the type of place you want to support! HIGHLY recommend!

If you’re looking for great vibes and even better coffee, look no further. The menu is consistently amazing (the food is a must try!), but the service is the real star. I love that we have a great coffee shop in town. It’s the kind of place everyone is welcome. They remember your name and your favorites. Laura is AWESOME, always greets everyone with a smile and a good morning! There’s plenty of room to work, read, let the kids play. And the coffee is DELICIOUS! My personal favorite is a cinnamon roll latte. But the monthly specials are also delicious! They also have GLUTEN FREE options for sandwiches!!

I LOVE CottageRose Coffee! I always feel very welcomed every time I stop in. I don’t like sweet drinks and they know how to make with just an “essence” of flavor. My dogs love getting pup cups when I go. They love the treat on top!
