New to the CNY area, and love exploring places to eat. Everyone in Baldwinsville knows about the B’ville Diner, but the REAL gem is the Cottage Restaurant. Not only do you walk into an old time diner atmosphere, you get “old time” prices and GREAT food… win-win in our book.
The menu is great for breakfast, the prices are way less and two people can easily get full on less than a $20 bill, so leave a good tip.
Its a small place. Look for the municipal parking lot sign and you cant miss it. Super friendly staff will make you feel like one of the “regulars” that frequent this place.
The lunch menu includes a few sandwiches, and of course the soup of the day and I will say… its Home of the $4 Hamburger. Going to come back for lunch and try that deal out soon.
You will go back to this place, not kidding.

This is a unique place. Kind of a funky layout but the food is good. Reasonably priced with medium portion sizes. Service was great fast and friendly. Fresh mushrooms not canned. Hashbrowns were undercooked and had no flavor/seasoning.

We visited Cottage Restaurant for a Sunday breakfast for the first time. Reminiscent of an old time diner, this is a no frills quick breakfast. CASH ONLY and service was mediocre at best. The food was good for the price and a great value. If you are looking for a quick fill up and go, this is the place for you.

A quaint little restaurant tucked in the heart of Baldwinsville. The place was bustling when I arrived, and all the available tables per Covid guidelines were full. Even when busy, the service did not falter. You can’t beat the prices and the portions. If you’re looking for a local feel and the comfort of homemade meals, I would recommend the Cottage Restaurant.
