The real cotoletta! Fried to perfection in butter. Lorenzo made us feel at home. Italian beer and wine – perfect match! No need to have other items in the menu. Tiramisu directly from heaven. Take a look at the pictures!

This is such a wonderful little place, I know I will be back. The first thing to understand is that there is only one main course option: veal Milanese, served with your choice of sides. Do not let that deter you. The concept is based on traditional restaurants in small Italian villages that offered only the freshest locally available ingredients. The result is a simple yet delightfully delicious experience.

Given that the accompaniments can change, your server will inform you of your options. On our recent visit, our choices were as follows. The starter was two bruschetta with cherry tomatoes and a cheese spread, along with two deliciously light arrancini in a cheese sauce. The white wine option was a Gavi di Gavi, which happens to be my favorite Italian varietal, so I was already in heaven.

As I was sharing the monstrous Milanese, my daughter and I needed to debate the sides, so we settled on fried zucchini strips and an arugula salad, and we paid for an extra side of penne arrabbiata. They also offered fries and a penne with pomodoro.

Everything was delicious; the veal was pounded thin but remained tender and juicy. The crust was just the right balance of crunch and salt. The arrabbita was a great decision as was the arugula. We didn’t eat all the zucchini, but mainly because of how many fried veggies you can eat when you’re facing a one sq. Foot of deep-fried veal, don’t get me wrong, everything was terrific.

As mentioned, the servings are generous, so we didn’t have a lot of room for dessert, but I find it impossible to turn down an affogato, so lucky me, they had one.

There are two other sister restaurants from the same owners: one serves lasagna, and the other is more of an Italian bar concept. Suffice it to say, I am going to try all three. Everything about this restaurant felt like a family-run business, and I loved it from start to finish. I suspect you will too.

I visited Cotoletta for the first time last Saturday, and honestly, I had never left a restaurant feeling so happy. It’s a simple yet brilliant concept: a fixed menu that includes two appetizers, a Milanese to share, and two sides—either pasta, fried zucchini, or French fries. To drink, they serve exquisite wines poured directly from the bottle.

The atmosphere is spectacular. Every detail is unique and transports you to another place, making you feel as if you were truly in Italy. The waitstaff and assistants had great energy—quick, attentive, and welcoming. The food was exquisite, executed to a level of perfection that’s truly admirable. When offering a fixed menu, everything has to be flawless, and they absolutely nailed it. Everything was so delicious.

Honestly, I had never left a restaurant with such a strong desire to return. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this culinary experience possible!

Outstanding restaurant from start to finish!
The food, service, and atmosphere were all excellent.
• The veal was perfectly prepared—ideal thickness, light breading, and beautifully cooked.
• The penne al dente was spot on, and the fried zucchini was tender and delicious.
• The crispy potato balls were very good, while the arugula salad with cheese slices and grape tomatoes was refreshing.
• For dessert, the chocolate tart with pistachio ice cream was exceptional, and the tiramisu was extra creamy and indulgent.
• Wine selection included a single Chianti, which paired nicely with the meal.

Andrea, the manager, along with the chef, were both professional and genuinely friendly, adding to the welcoming experience.

This restaurant serves the best veal in town, with a concept that feels both interesting and innovative. We’ll definitely be back for another lovely meal at this beautiful place!

Delicious Italian place with prix fixe menu for 2 for $80, centered on delicious veal Milanese with two sides and two appetizers. Arancini starter was to die for. Tiramisu was so worth it, too!

The cotoletta was fantastic and the service attentive, but the prices felt a bit steep. The appetizers and side dishes, unfortunately, were underwhelming and quite basic. That said, if you’re craving a proper cotoletta, this is definitely the spot to come.

As an argentinean living in Miami, I may say this has been the best milanesa I’ve had in the city, by far. Starters are also top tier and we had to order 2 more sides of fries as they were amazing. However, paying $75 each for a milanesa seems too much. Oh, btw, the italian waiter was a bit grumpy too.

To the point menu with a meal for two ($80). The veal is perfectly breaded! The tiramisu was good but heavy on the mascarpone. Casual enough for a weeknight dinner. Would definitely come back!

Literally the best meal I have had in a long while. Simple concept, simple food cooked to and served with perfection – not an easy thing to do. They serve one thing and it is amazing.

The special pasta was the bolognese, so delish. The cutlet was cooked and seasoned to perfection.

Now the topper was dessert. I don’t like Tiramisu but we had it and I think I am a convert! This was sinful and light, and full of the right flavors.

I will be back everytime I pass through Miami!!

The food and the service … Chef’s Kiss

The service was flawless. The arancini were spectacular! But the rest was okay. I really liked the small menu which should make things easier when you talk about quality controll. But the COTOLETTA wasnt evenly fried, too thick on some parts. You can see what I am referimg too in the pictures. Good flavor but un even cooking on the main dish. That not good for me. The side dishes were good too. I really liked that they speak in italian to you there, and that there was a manager/boss etc who was checking on our table regular. Recomended
