Loved the selection of food, settled on the super nachos topped with alpastor. Absolutely loved it, portion size is huge compared to others I’ve tried. Can’t wait to sample the rest of the menu

Enchiladas tasted weird and I paid $17 for two beef enchiladas and a small scoop of rice and beans. Go somewhere else that isn’t a chain and you’ll get double the portions for maybe twelve bucks. Won’t be coming back.

I hate writing negative reviews but this is the 2nd time it’s happened. Told at price when ordering, told the same price at the window and then over charged when looking back at my statement. $17.35 for a carne asada burrito? Over charged by $3 for tacos last time. It’s not the amount, it’s the fact they quote one price and sneak in another. The portions have shrunk in half and the meat is poor quality. Definitely won’t be back!

Pretty good taco shop. Yes, they’re a small chain, but they’re run relatively well and presided over by a family of Mexican-Americans rather than a restaurant group conglomerate. No frills to be sure, but food is tasty.

Fast food style restaurant that has some sit down style menu items in addition. Problem here is purely consistency, could do much better. First visit late night (for this area) around 9:15/9:30 pm ordered Shrimp Fajitas and they were great plenty of extra large maybe a couple jumbo shrimp all cooked perfectly succulent even seemed a little buttery and served on a large plate very neatly. (Didn’t photograph)

Roughly 2 weeks later tried it again, elderly woman had tremendous difficulty understanding order even in Spanish with plexiglass covid-19 divider. Ordered “For Here” but everything was crammed into To-Go box. Couldn’t even recognize it as being same meal. Had less shrimp (7) and smaller, and prepared completely different, sitting in literally tomato soup (sauce?).

Thought I would give them 1 last chance when I came to town again (work). Thought I would try something different, hoping to get those succulent buttery shrimp again I ordered Camarones al Mojo (de Ajo). This time I got (8) large butterflied shrimp (no extra-large or jumbo). Unfortunately they were extremely dry and over-cooked maybe 2 notches above dehydrated or jerky. As this was 2:30 in the afternoon I also noticed they do not have air conditioning, but do have a couple ceiling fans and leave the front doors open.

Beans and rice were consistent between visits and we’re good but nothing special or exceptional. The only real positive thing I can say is they serve the meals with (2) excellent – huge 16″ homemade flour tortillas (by owner off premises-did not try corn). As another plus they use the same tortillas for their burritos, but have not had one yet.

Back to consistency, based strictly on my first visit, it would have been a solid, 4.5 stars as those shrimp fajitas were far better than Acapulco restaurant’s. Further recommendations would be for the cashier to walk the 10-15 extra steps to deliver the food to 1 of the 3 tables instead of trying to yell through the plexiglass at the front.

Perhaps list when sour cream is include for those of us that can’t have it

Edit (as I am unsure how to reply): does it matter? All locations on the website list the same – inaccurate – menu.
