Absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish! Archie was an excellent waiter, warm welcome with a big smile, he made us feel at home straight away, even when I felt so awkward saying “I am an icon” Food was delicious, we both chose the Beef Bourginon. Highly recommend the restaurant. Very cosy, romantic atmosphere. Please pop in and see it for yourself! Côte app is an excellent way to save money and they always have offers!

Its consistently good but this time was excellent. Very friendly staff and the food was really very good, the French onion soup, the chicken and frites and the pistachio creme brulee. Maybe the decor needs a bit of a spruce. Other than that perfect.

Adding the 12.5% service charge, it is around £30 per head. My partner and I ordered onion soup and calamari as starter. Both are very good but the main dish, grilled sea bass fillet was not as expected. I visited the reading shop also. The starter and dessert of both Reading and Richmond are delicious but not applied to main dish.

Location, staff, service and ambience were all good, however…….the food was beyond disappointing.
Very basic food poorly presented.
Our party of five were unanimous in our view that there is no reason to return.

Warm welcome at Côte Richmond and attentive service. What drew me in was the offer of a complimentary glass for two of summer wine.
Côte have refreshed their menu in the last year or so and it doesn’t disappoint. Prices have increased but it’s worth it. The lamb shank was perfect, the meat tasty and fell off the bone. My friends beef was excellent and well flavoured. The wine matched the rich meat well. The dessert was light and delicious – altogether a delightful meal.
I’d prefer no music but what was playing was not too intrusive.

We had a good lunch, the pan-fried salmon, and confit pork belly were perfectly cooked, and delicious.
The service was excellent, all the staffs were friendly, and helpful.
Seating areas are available indoor, and outdoor.
Toilets for customers are available on the first floor, and there’s an accessible/disabled toilet on the ground floor.

My friend and I just had the best experience at Cote Richmond. The food on the set menu was delicious, but even better than that was the service we received. Rava has been the loveliest, most personable waitress (possibly the manager?) we’ve had. She is the embodiment of customer service and we’ve had such a great evening under her care. We will definitely be back!
