Costa’s Mediterranean Cafe’ is a venue which serves only the best family recipes which have been perfected through many generations of preparation. Only the freshest herbs and spices and the finest cuts of meats and fish are used daily in our kitchen, under the watchful eye and guidance of Mrs. Maria Kanellis, so each dish will be a delight for our customer. I’ve eaten here on several occasions but never left a review until now. Shameful. I visited here because I wanted to try their pastichio, only to discover it’s no longer on the menu. My server, who was super friendly and helpful, stated that the Hoover location still serves it but due to the lengthy process it takes to make it, this location does not offer it anymore. While I was disappointed to find this out, my food made up for it. At my server’s suggestion, I ordered the baked ziti lunch special for $10.95. The special came with salad and a breadstick and a healthy serving of baked ziti. I wanted Greek dressing with my salad, but quickly realized that that was not the right choice. It looked more like balsamic vinaigrette and was very tart. I usually eat Greek dressing when dining out but maybe theirs is…..very unique. Maybe I received the wrong dressing. All I know is I couldn’t finish my salad because of it. The breadstick was warm and comforting and the baked ziti was very rich and cheesy. It was a delicious and robust choice that didn’t break the bank and helped to ease my disappointment on missing out on the pastichio. The server (who kept saying she had been there for 18 years) was excellent albeit really talkative. Not necessarily a bad thing so don’t think that it is. There’s something nostalgic about this restaurant. It’s older but it’s still in good shape. It’s a huge place with plenty of seating as the place is never crowded the times I’ve been on the weekend. As an introvert, I actually appreciate that fact. I’ll definitely return as I always do when I’m in the mood for rich Italian cuisine.

I had an amazing experience at Costa’s Mediterranean Café! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Hunter provided phenomenal customer service—he was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. His professionalism and kindness truly made our visit special.

Had a taste for some lamb chops and visited this place. Very nice family owned restaurant. I notice a lot of locals comes in and staff pretty much know what they are ordering.

OMGoodnesssss! Sooo, hot and delicious! I didn’t have to add anything! The lamb was juicy and tender… grilled to perfection! My grilled veggies were on point, buttery and well seasoned, along with the potatoes. My man loved his pita pizza, he said next we have to go and sit in and eat. Sorry the pics are not up to standard, but it does show how we were devouring that food. Hands down 10/10!!!!

The portions require “take it home boxes”. I love their Veal Parmigiana and the Greek Salad is huge and the Fetta chunks generous. The fresh and hot bread is delicious with butter. The Ice Cold Sweet Tea is tasty. We never have room for their deserts (shame on us)! I really enjoy their bar area. We just enjoy their Special on Veal Parmigiana for two, barely over $30, a bargain, and absolutely wonderful. We arrived, just as the rain started, so we called in our order. Twenty minutes later we picked it up and drove home. The portions were so big we ate two separate meals. ♥️

But, it’s so hard to overlook such gross bathrooms. It’s not like the management, and cooks don’t use them too.
