This Costa Vida is ALWAYS the best. They have the kindest employees and the best manager.
We have been very disappointed with the Riverdale location’s staff friendliness and constantly feel as if we are not welcome or don’t deserve proper customer service.
We are always coming back to South Ogden’s Costa Vida because the staff not only seem to genuinely enjoy their job but also enjoy serving their customers. The food is always wonderful and they always are listening intently on what you are ordering. Their store is extremely cleanly too.

this is THE definitive best Costa Vida location in existence, and I’ll bet I’ve visited a dozen stores over the years. I’ll always come to South Ogden, the quality of both the food and service is uniquely great. orders are always perfect, everything tastes delicious, and everyone who works here is professional and very friendly! I’ve never had a bad experience here; it’s always a satisfying visit, no matter if I’m staying, going, or ordering ahead. I really hope management at this location knows what a wonderful team they have!

This seems to happen every time I order takeout. The food looks like it’s just thrown together without much care. It would be great if the beans were packed separately or if the tacos were better protected so they don’t get covered in bean mush. Just a little more effort in packing would make a big difference.

“Not impressed with my visit to Costa Vida. The service was subpar—staff seemed uninterested and not very friendly. I ordered a large salad , but the portion was extremely underwhelming and didn’t feel worth the price. Not to mention it also smelled of dirty shoes. Overall, it left much to be desired, and next time I’ll be visiting cafe rio across the street.

If I am paying $10 for a mean I expect some food in it. .
They are beyond skimpy with the meat , do better guys. .today I got a sweet pork quesadilla and I asked for refried beans and lettuce and pico instead of rice .
This is what I got . I stopped and said ummm that’s runny , can I have regular pinto beans he slapped some on and seemed annoyed. . It looks like they watered it down to cut costs . Then the meat is barley there . Lower your prices if you’re going to be this skimpy.

This company steals rewards / I had the red headed guy do it to me and play dumb when I asked about it. He pretends to put my number in and got rude when I said it did not make sense. I told him I scanned the receipt and it said used. Only way that’s possible is if he entered his own number. . Super shady if you ask me. Once again, very little meat and two tablespoons of beans. This place is downhill for sure

Gluten free options. Have not eaten at a Costa Vida in a long time. The food was exactly as I remembered it so reliability is a plus. This is a generic Mexican restaurant with basic meats, beans, and toppings. The same ingredients are available as burritos, tacos, nachos, etc., or something called a Baja Bowl. Prices hover around $10 for entrees. If you want dependability and basic Mexican food, this is not a bad choice. Unless there is a long line, the service is quick if time is a factor. A steady stream of customers came in during the lunch hour so many people are satisfied with what is offered.
