Costa Vida looks almost identical to Cafe Rio, but their food tastes much better. On my first outing there for dinner with my parents and the Capeners, I had the raspberry chipotle grilled chicken burrito. The raspberry chipotle sauce tastes sweet with a little kick to it. It also came with a side dish of tortilla chips, lettuce, pico de gallo, and a cup of horchata.

My friend and I go to the same Costa Vida every single time and let me just tell you… THIS is the place. We’re always greeted by the AMAZING employees!! Jose especially is so welcoming and always remembers us whenever we come in. Him among many others are AMAZING!! 10/10 recommend.

I brought the missionaries to have a massive meal, one of them turned his left overs into a burrito. They were stuffed. I always enjoy coming here the staff and atmosphere is great.

Do not order online from this store. My order that was placed 10 minutes before I got there took 20 minutes after I got there to hand it to me. I wasn’t the only one having to wait that long. But people coming into the store 10 minutes after us were able to order, get their food and leave before us. Aren’t online/phone orders just as important?

It had been a while since I last visited Costa Vida, so I decided to stop by for a quick, late lunch around 2 PM today. I really do love their tortillas. The establishment appeared clean and well-maintained. Despite only having one party of three ahead of us, we waited quite a while in line, and they also had to wait a bit even with no one in front of them.
When we reached the part of the line where you can choose additional toppings, there was some confusion. I realized as we got to the register that the worker had added the toppings we requested to the dish that the party ahead of us ordered. The ambient noise (kitchen noise, loud music, etc.) made it hard to hear clearly, but it seemed like the other party also noticed something was wrong. When it was our turn, I saw a worker now adding items to my daughter’s order.
When I reached the young woman at the checkout, I asked her to open my daughter’s order so we could verify what was in it. It seemed that our requested items were put on the other customer’s order. She kept repeating “It’s ok” each of the 3 times I asked. Finally, she told me that they were remaking the other customer’s order. While I was glad for the other customer, I was more concerned about our order being correct. I had to physically gesture and stand behind my daughter, pointing at her and the dish, repeating myself louder each time to ensure she understood that I wanted my daughter’s order checked. She continued to say “It’s ok” and suggested remaking the order without actually opening it to verify the contents. At that point, I was so frustrated I gave up, paid for our orders, and left as quickly as possible.
When we opened our food after leaving, sure enough, it was the wrong order. The food we received, although inaccurate, was tasty and fresh. Basic customer service is the minimum expectation for any meal experience, and this missed the mark. I won’t be returning to this location any time soon. While I enjoy their food, a quick stop for lunch shouldn’t be this stressful.

This is one of my favorite Costa Vida locations! I work near it and come here for lunch often! The service is fast and the staff are friendly. The restaurant is very clean and the food is great!! Would recommend!
