I haven’t been here in years and I was surprised to find out they expanded, looks nicer, more space and as always food is good. Good place to find Pupusas

We have recently had some cravings for some authentic salvadoranian cuisine, and we happened to have found this little gem by seafood city Vallejo. We’re in luck as it’s not busy considering we walked in on a weekend. Service was prompt, and the food was awesomely authentic. We especially love their yucca fries. I love the flavor of the red sauce that they paired with my lengua, but I would’ve liked the meat more tender, but overall, I give them full marks! The only downside was that their sound system is a little blaringly loud for a non busy weekend. We did request for them to lower it down a notch, but we could hardly tell the difference. I suggest giving them a try for authentic salvadoranian food next time you pass by!

There salvadorian tamale was very small and sour didn’t like it, like it was going bad. The pupusa de maiz with bean and cheese was pretty good. The flavor of the was really yummy but they are greasy. The pupusas de arroz were alright to greasy the cheese they use gives to much grease. The curtido spicy.

We sat at a table which had ants all over the wall so we went to sit at another table all throughout our time there were several ants crawling on table and we told the worker and she didn’t say anything I should of left right away ,the rice tasted old and hard as if they just heated it up .I will never come back here again totally disappointed.

They expanded thier restaurant and offer night entertainment by way of open mic karaoke etc(mainly Mexican and El Salvadorian music) and possibly dancing not sure but usually when music is playing, alcohol is flowing and good food is served then A GOOD TIME is usually present.

Okay so I came back here after 10 months and they revamped the place extending it making it way more spacious. I loved the feel inside, wonderful service by Leticia very admirable woman and kind. I was seated and served quickly. She was the only server and also taking care of register, being it was a calm Monday evening. I managed to get in and out pretty quickly seeing she was busy I went up and paid my tab no big deal for me. Told her I really like the food, and she responded very well. Friendly and attentive towards customers who were also dining in.The pupusas I had were hot, delicious, along with the toppings. I liked how they were served, really leaves an impression. Revueltas and Lorocco with cheese. Yummy, cheesy, flavorful, tasty toppings, presentation was great, not greasy or dry! Complimentary fresh hot tortilla chips and pico de Gallo tasting salsa were a good start. Nice cold water with ice. Comfortable seating and music playing. They have Mexican and Salvadorian food available. I’d say it’s worth a shot. I was really feeling pupusas and this place came up in my Google search, almost forgot I had been here until she told me they made some adjustments to the place overtime. Thank you! I love when I have a nice dine in experience, makes me feel really good so I just had to edit my previous review. I’ll be back again! Gracias.
