I came to Davenport with my dad, we found this place and everything was delicious, the steak was awesome, shrimp empanadas, everything was really good. Our waitress was super nice and friendly. I would recommend this restaurant to my family and friends.

Really good food. I was honestly expecting to get a burrito but opted for the seafood platter. Glad I did. It was amazing. Perfectly seasoned and presented. A bit messy but it’s seafood. Not easy to keep the hands clean when dealing with shrimp/crab legs. Price is in-point as well for what you get.
The staff is nice as well but seems that they are limited in staff because it kind of felt rushed. Recommend hiring more staff to alleviate the strain of staff who may be working harder than they should. Trust me, It does affect the customer experience. Not saying that the service was bad rather, rushed. They give you a quick smile and move on.
The location is real nice and gives you a real nice vibe. I like seeing this as I can’t stand fast food locations for their decor. It feels cheap and not so much welcoming where this particular restaurant appears authentic where the owner(s) took the time to decorate.
I certainly will come back to this place and order something similar and would recommend this place to others.

The food is run-of-the-mill Tex-Mex—fine, but nothing that sets it apart from the rest. The service, however, was good. I burned my thumb pretty badly on the fajita plate and the server brought me cream and a band-aid so that was really nice. 0 complaints.

We had an amazing experience at Costa Del Mar tonight, the food was delicious, came out super fast and warm. Our waitress Natalie was so nice and treated us amazing, two other workers were very helpful and sweet. Customer service was amazing as well as food. Highly recommend

The food was par. I always have concerns when the food comes out 5 minutes I placed the order. No cook is that fast, that tells me the food is not fresh. Good place, I still recommend it.

This place is my family’s favorite for seafood. It’s worth the hour drive for us. The servers are always super nice and attentive to us. The molcajete is a must! I get it very time, and it never disappoints. It has cran, scallops, shrimp, and octopus. We had a birthday when we went, and the free desert was presented in a cute way. Highly recommend!

What an amazing dining experience. Absolutely fantastic food. My wife and myself always get the shrimp cocktail (if it’s on the menu) at every Mexican restaurant we try. It’s always a great indication of how good (authentic) it’s going to be. Costa Del Mar delivered. Rarely do I come across ceviche on the menu so I ordered that as well. My wife ordered the pollo sonora. Grilled chicken with a bunch a grilled veggies. It looked amazing. I went with the camarones al gusto ranchero. Shrimp cooked in a tasty tomato sauce. The food was ready extremely quickly and the service was wonderful. Great experience. One of the best Mexican restaurant experiences we’ve had in quite awhile. 6 stars.
