If you’re visiting Reno, Nevada or exploring the Northern NV area and love incredible Italian food , Cosmo’s Snack Bar is an absolute must-try. This spot delivers a classy-casual vibe ✨, exceptional service , and fresh flavors that are perfection in every bite .

You order at the counter, choose your table, and enjoy complimentary sparkling and flat water on tap a small detail that shows their commitment to quality. The atmosphere is lively, upbeat, and fun , and you’d never guess by the name that Cosmo’s serves some of the best Italian food in Reno.

Every dish is consistently fresh and delicious . One of my favorite touches is the rotating nightly soft-serve flavor simple, high-quality, and the perfect way to finish your meal.

I’m based in Las Vegas , but whenever I’m in Northern Nevada whether for a quick getaway or while exploring neighborhoods and local amenities for my real estate clients Cosmo’s is always on my must-visit list. Part of truly understanding a community is experiencing its food scene, and this spot is exactly the kind of local treasure that makes an area feel like home.

I only give 5-star reviews when a place fully earns it. If you don’t see a review from me, it wasn’t a five-star experience. Cosmo’s Snack Bar deserves every single star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. The food is amazing, the staff is wonderful, and the restaurant is spotless.

And yes I’m still talking about how fresh the lettuce was in my salad (I’m serious about salad quality!). I only wish we had a Cosmo’s Snack Bar in Las Vegas!

If you’re searching for the best casual Italian restaurant in Reno, the top places to eat in Northern Nevada, or a fresh, flavorful local spot, put Cosmo’s Snack Bar at the very top of your list.

I order take out…the wait time was super quick. I got the margarita pizza, app of meatballs, kale Caesar salad and some soft serve ice cream. Everything was ok. The pizza was tasty but a little hard to chew. The meat balls and marinara were a little spicy but very good. The kale Caesar was also hard to chew, raw kale is extremely fibrous, making it hard to chew and digest. If it was half romaine half kale it would have been easier to consume. The dressing taste was outstanding. Lastly the soft serve, that night they were offering vanilla and dragon fruit. I did the combo twist. I loved the mix of creamy vanilla with dairy free dragon fruit. Great combinations.

The atmosphere is simple yet nice. It can get loud when busy, bit it is comfortable.
The menu is small and simple but that isn’t a bad thing, what they do is done well. The pizza is fantastic, wood fired pizza. They have great cocktails and beer.
You’re is a great place to bring your family or a date.

I am disappointed in myself for not finding this place earlier. Truly a hidden gem. Everything was delicious. This has got to be the best pizza in the area by far. Honestly it was far better than any of the pizza we had in NYC. Just perfect.

The pizzas we order are always on point. Anything one you pick from the menu is great!
If you walk in for the first time, find a seat first then one person order.

Great spot in the summer at the back patio.

Cosmo’s Snack Bar is such a gem. The pizza is seriously amazing, fun, creative, and totally unique without trying too hard. Their Italian drink options are on point, and on warmer days and nights the patio is perfect. An ideal spot for a night out. We’ll definitely be back.

I recently visited Cosmo’s Snack Bar in Reno, and it was outstanding. Their kale Caesar salad was so good! The gluten-free pizza blew me away — I honestly felt like I was eating the real deal. And their soft-serve ice cream was a dream; I had the pistachio flavor and devoured every last bite. The place has a relaxed, welcoming vibe, and the care they put into both food and drink really shows.

This place is a real gem. The staff are super warm and friendly, the food is fantastic, and the soft serve is to die for. Can’t wait for the cherry flavor to return. The patio is so nice in summer, and there is an intimate bar inside as well. Just such a cool space!

Cosmos has become a regular stop for me on Wells. The sourdough crust is excellent, blending neo-Neapolitan style with a West Coast feel, and the menu changes seasonally with some creative options – things like a mortadella red pie or a clam pie for special occasions. The drink program is thoughtful/takes swings, from fun cocktails to a solid amaro selection, and the soft-serve is consistently good (toasted rice was a fave)

It’s counter service with a clean, classic space, and the staff is always friendly. I usually sit at the small bar, though the outdoor seating in summer is great, especially when they do oysters. Parking can take a little planning with a small lot, but street parking nearby is usually easy enough with a block or two walk.

I’m just a guy who loves a good pizza and travels a lot for work. Let me start by saying that the pie was really good! The atmosphere was probably great if you want to hang out with a few friends, and enjoy a fun, albeit noisy, place to hang out. I however was a lone diner, and the dining area was a bit odd for me to hang out by myself and enjoy a meal. There is a spot with some bar seating, but it’s super shallow with a full height wall right in front of you and plenty of opportunity for people to bump into you as they walk by. So my 2-cents… if you have some time and a few friends, definitely stop in, but if you’re a lone traveler, maybe get it to-go.
