Love this restaurant! The menu has changed, and there aren’t as many appetizer options as before. We came for a Friday night dinner and were seated in the middle of the dining area with no one around us—until two large tables of kids arrived. Not exactly the relaxing evening we were hoping for, but the food was delicious as always!

The Cosmopolitan Tavern & Italian Grill never disappoints. The charred halibut was absolutely amazing—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The vegetables were spot on, and the pasta was al dente just the way I like it. Great service, great atmosphere, and an overall top-notch dining experience. I’ll definitely be back for more!

We were told they didn’t have BBQ sauce but it’s a extra sauce for lunch. My other granddaughter and boyfriend wanted to share fettuccine chicken Alfredo with chicken and mushrooms on the side. French dip is good a half order is all you need. But the Biola burger is off the hook amazing. And for the fish lovers the tuna sandwich is unforgettable.

MISSING ITEM-NOT COMMUNICATED. Placed an order for pick up. I was greeted and attended to as I walked in which was pleasant. I gave my name for the order and walked out assuming everything was good to go. One of the items apparently was sold out, but the staff assumed it would be a fun game to let me find out by myself. (Side note: the fries were soggy and tasted stale. I arrived 5 minutes before my order was to be ready.) Came back to ask the to go associate if there wasn’t a phone number I could be reached at to notify me prior to arriving… she blankly stared at the register avoiding the question. After I placed my order for the replacement she stood there with a blank face. I kindly asked if she can ask the cook to expedite my order which she happily did. This place is definitely not what people make it out to be. Will not be returning.

There are cooks and there are cooks who understand how to cook food. I went to lunch with my brother . As we walked inside I noticed it was really nice inside there was a beautiful full bar and wine case and I knew that this was going to be a treat. We both were craving a burger , simple right ? Like I said there are cooks and cooks who understand food. Forget about all the chains and smash burger trendy spots around town , if you want a fantastic burger this is the spot ! This is an Italian restaurant so if you are looking for something like pizza , pasta or a maybe a 20 oz bone in ribeye steak if you are really hungry this spot has got you covered. The service is great and welcoming !
I’m a Fresno native and I’ve been to many places in California, Oregon, Washington and Texas , for the price , service , atmosphere , the quality of the food and passion that goes into the food the Cosmopolitan is my top restaurant over all .
I can’t wait to see what the new menu looks like but I want that 20 oz ribeye paired with a bottle of red .
