Cosmos Burger is easily one of our favorite burger spots in KC. This location is especially great—it has a full bar, a nice crowd, and a fun, energetic vibe that makes it more than just a quick bite. The burgers are consistently excellent, and the overall atmosphere makes it a perfect place to hang out with friends. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

I get a modified vegan burger and I love it every time! My favorite vegan burger in town. And the staff are the best! The falafel burger is good too, but vegans will need to order without taziki, and will need to ask in person for a vegan bun, because there’s no way to do that on their online ordering portal. They’re a great spot for vegans, so it is a bit weird that they sell a *falafel burger* but you can’t make it vegan without talking to staff. Also I wish I could order it with their vegan cheese, since I can’t have the taziki.

Came in for the first time. Completely dead and went to sit at bar and was told it was only for people buying drinks by the bartender who has zero customer service skills. We moved to a table and the couple next to us was leaving. They forgot their phone and the bartender came over to clean the table. He had plenty of time to take it to them but he just left it there. We would have taken it to her but luckily the lady came back in for it. The cook, Burger and tots were excellent! Would recommend take out only.

Place was ok. Atmosphere was not so good, a few customers but nothing really nice to see. Bartender was nice and had a great attitude which made up for the poor interior design of it. Torn and worn out cushion seats, We headed over to enjoy a burger from Cosmos but struggled to find the location cause the building has a name of Dodson’s (the bar) and our uber, being a local, could not find the place either. The burgers (from cosmos) were delicious!! Simple menu, harder for the older people to place order since you had to order through a barcode on phone app. We went around 5 pm.

Tried the specialty goober burger and it was really delicious! I love the unique flavors. The tots were good but also greasy so a bit hard to finish. Atmosphere was great but also a bit loud. And service was also great! Wish they had some hot sauce but next time I’ll just bring my own. The burger itself was $10 without fries so a bit pricey but worth the try!

My wife and I ate here for the first time last night and I tell you what, it was the best darn burger we’ve ever had. I had a triple gooped up lol (which is peanut butter and jalapeño jam, and that tastes freaking amazing lol) oh and they have these cinnamon and sugar dusted tots with icing (wouldn’t even think it was a tot, taste like a bite size cinnamon bun lol) We will definitely be going back…

My wife and another couple joined me to try out their burgers because we heard they were really good. They were good but not great. You have to order online and the online portal tells you when they receive your order and when it is in progress and it’s supposed to tell you when it’s done. However, it didn’t show that our order was done. I had to go to my email to find a confirmation email and that was 10 minutes after our food was done so it sat there under the heat lamp for 10 minutes. Cosmo is inside another bar (dodsons) and the bar does not have servers. Nor does Cosmos. The two bartenders did an amazing job handling all the people coming up for drinks. This place could definitely use some servers. The guy and gal that were bartending last night stayed on top of all the people standing there waiting for orders and they were taking multiple orders at one time. It was impressive! Overall, the burgers were above average, but definitely not any of our favorite in Kansas City. We’re on a mission to find the best burger in Kansas City. One of the people I was with last night said Culver’s burger is better. I don’t agree with that, but I see where he’s coming from. Rating from the 4 of us were wide ranging. 5.5, 6.5, 7 and an 8. Take that for what it’s worth.

Just like In and Out Burger but better. Any Midwest peeps who know In and Out from the west coast will LOVE this burger. The sauce is excellent and the ingredients are crispy fresh. Being built into a bar is just an added bonus!

Pretty good burger, very expensive considering they have no menu. BURGERS and tots. Place inside of a bar, I really didn’t feel comfortable. The bar tender was awesome. She does not work for Cosmos though. “Good burger”
