Absolutely phenomenal—service, food, and atmosphere were all top-tier. This place truly checks every box.
The wheat is sourced directly from Italy, and the pasta is made fresh in-house daily, which you can genuinely taste. Every dish we ordered was outstanding, and the service was just as impressive. Our server was upbeat, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu.
My favorite detail? The lasagna is made with 100% beef—and it was hands down the best thing on the menu. The brownie dessert was also gluten free!

Michael is truly the best chef! The octopus and mussels were absolutely delicious—a must-try! Our server, Rog, was amazing too. He took such great care of us, made us laugh, and made us feel so welcome. Big shoutout to this awesome and adorable server! ✨

The pasta, gelato, sauce and rolls are homemade and they did not disappoint!! The rolls with the olive oil and balsamic were so good but the mussels in the fra diavolo sauce were incredible!! There were so many mussels I should have made that my dinner, but we also got the chicken parm with a side of pasta and it was sooooo good!! The homemade sauce has a rustic old world style taste to it and we loved it. Our waitress, Daisy, greeted us with a big smile and was so pleasant! I wish we had saved room for the gelato but unfortunately we did not. I guess that means we’ll need to return the next time we are in town.

So glad we found this gem in Park City. Don’t mistake this for a typical strip mall restaurant. This is a charming, warm, cozy restaurant frequented by visitors and locals alike. Parking was very easy, even in our camper van. We came in at a peak hour for dinner and were seated at the long bar. We loved the bartender who was also our server, who was such a personable and charming young man. And he made terrific drinks for us. The food was incredible. It was truly among the best Italian I’ve had. The pastas were homemade and had the right bite. We appreciated that the sauces were only lightly salted, yet so flavorful. The meatball appetizer was perfectly seasoned and so juicy, don’t miss it. And the beet salad was delicious. Don’t skip the homemade gelato for dessert! We’ll definitely return when in town next time.

Won’t be returning. Food and service were bad.
Arrived for our 8:30 reservation and seated in a dark corner booth by the door and gelato counter. We asked to be moved to main dining area and we were told no tables available, so we were seated in a booth in the bar/gelato area. The girl seating us was rude and had an angry look on her face, not even a hello.
The server took our order and told us which dishes they were out of. We had salad and a bottle of wine while waiting for dinner After 30 minutes she came back and told us the gnocchi that I ordered was not available, this is the only reason I come here. If I had known that initially we would probably have left, but by now it’s 9:15. She said she would check in the back for something similar but came back with only my husbands dinner. It was Gorgonzola and sausage pasta. This definitely was not Gorgonzola, it was an orange colored cream sauce that did not have any Gorgonzola taste. There were too many walnuts and too little sausage.
We have liked Cortona in the past but after this experience will not be returning.

I’m no chef remember, just a man that loves food. A bit pricy but the quality was great. The rolls and sauce were wonderful to my pallet. I’m a big guy, that being said I’m not walking away hungry. I had the Shrimp Abbriggadda (I think that’s right) and the House Salad. Both were very good. The service made me feel like I was in Italy as they went through the menu and specials. My buddy had the Lasagna. He’ll update me later….hmmm.

Cotona Italian Café in Park City is a cozy local spot that feels warm and welcoming. I really enjoyed the potato gnocchi (vegetarian) — simple, well-balanced, and surprisingly light and fluffy. It’s the kind of place that’s perfect for relaxing and sharing a good meal with friends. Highly recommend.

Like others have said, this place is AMAZING. From the attentiveness of the staff to their food and atmosphere…you will be satisfied from start to finish and wanting to come back
Our server Roj was great; knowledgeable about the menu enthusiastic and made good recommendations for wine pairings with food.
The food itself is outstanding! Salads are fresh, and flavorful. Their lasagna is excellent, and I recently had their special of the Mussels in Diablo sauce. Not too spicy, well flavored throughout, and a good size portion for the price.
So again, start to finish was great and thank you again for making my friends birthday a wonderful experience.

Service was great once we got seated. Service at the “front of the house” was a bit awkward. Food was pretty good! Some pretty authentic dishes to choose from! Would definitely recommend the Potato Gnocchi with Shrimp!

Cool place. The lasagna is very yummy. Service is okay. I don’t think I will be back since there are so many other places around that would rather try instead.
