Finding a good Cuban sandwich nowadays is difficult. Being Cuban I know what I am looking for. Cortaditos makes a perfect medianoche (softer bread, a bit smaller than a Cuban, although theirs was huge.) a guava pastry and a mamey shake and I was in gastronomical heaven. Pleasant service, cleanliness and cute decor makes this a defínete five ⭐️ eatery.

The cappuccino we drink here tastes really good. The texture of the fake in steammilk is perfect. That’s why there’s no fishy smell of milk at all. I think the price was the same even if I changed it to almond milk. By the way, the espresso here is also great.

But the highlight of our visit was Jenny, who took our order. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel so comfortable. Her warm attitude truly made the experience even better.

I’ve had coffee from cortaditos many times but last week actually got some food.
The place is simple clean and nice. Plenty of tables and chairs if you want to dine in. Pastries on display and a full menu of delicious Cuban food. Of course, I got a coffee which is a great blend of rocket fuel with great taste.
For food I ordered a pan con bistec which came in a round roll rather than the traditional rectangular bread. It was a nice change. The steak was well seasoned and had great chew. The rest of the ingredients were fresh and it was a great sandwich. One of my favorites on bergenline, which is saying a lot considering the amount of competition.

The coffee was amazing—definitely going back for that! The tart itself tasted good, but it didn’t feel very fresh since the fruit on top looked a bit dry. Service was just okay; it seemed like only one person was working, so it was hard for her to keep up. Understandable though!

I took a bite out of my vegan empanada and it was meat. Horrible customer service. They should refund my entire orders for having me put dead animal in my mouth. Completely disgusted! Everything I bought from them went straight into the garbage.
