The bread is fabulous! Made fresh served up with olive oil. We had a hard time deciding on what to order as everything sounds delicious. We ordered 2 pasta dishes from the specials menu and decided on different wines by the glass. The bread and pasta are made on premise daily. The food is never frozen, clean fresh food.
After dinner digestivo hit the spot. If you like dessert wine or dessert, they have options. Reservations recommended as it’s an intimate space. We’ll be back!
The restaurant’s food and bar’s food is amazing.
We loved the italian water’s care. He is outstanding.
We recommend this place 100%.
It is one of our bests spota in Scottsdale
The actual menu didn’t include veal chops as indicated on line. Very disappointed. The wine we ordered was also out of stock. Our appetizer, which we shared was very attractive and generous in quantity. Sausages and Broccoli Rape. I was delighted to see broccoli rape on the menu. It took a long time to arrive at our table. It was two medium sized sausages on a nice bright bed of greens. The sausages were bland and too lean. The greens were good. Our entrees were just ok. Breaded bone in pork chop was fine but really would have benefited from a sauce of some kind. The linguini and clams & bottarga was extremely salty and a very small serving, not a dinner portion. That was disappointing. Servers were fine, attentive. Corrado (chef? Owner?) came to the table to inquire if our dinner was going well, it was only a very brief but it was a bit awkward. He seemed very sad, no smile, we didn’t feel like he was really that interested. The prices weren’t outrageous, pasta in low 30’s and wine about $18 glass. Two glasses wine, one app, one pasta, one pork entree: bill was approximately $140. I wish the food had been better. I don’t think we’ll be back.
I stopped in for a lunch during the soft opening and was wow’d by the Capri Sandwich. While I was waiting for my food I took the time to browse, and not only do they have a great food but also an impressive variety of Italian products. The sandwich was amazing, and perfectly priced for lunch during the week.
They also have a fine dining area, which I am excited to try with my husband for date night.
Came in a second time and the service was exceptional, the food as always was great and the coffee delicious!’
As a fifth generation Arizonan I’m always excited to try new places. Everything at the market is shipped from Italy. We tried their cappuccino which was very good. We ordered two panini sandwiches. We waited for way more than an hour and still no sandwich or water. Finally we get our sandwiches and they were good. Customer service there needs big improvements. The management did apologize for our order taking so long and took the sandwiches off our bill cause he said he lost our order.
