Feel transported to Italia at this restaurant and market! Os is a gracious host and know the menu, wines, everything. They have a refined cocktail menu and Matt is open to making special cocktails. We came for dinner and had a lovely experience.
The bread is fabulous! Made fresh served up with olive oil. We had a hard time deciding on what to order as everything sounds delicious. We ordered 2 pasta dishes from the specials menu and decided on different wines by the glass. The bread and pasta are made on premise daily. The food is never frozen, clean fresh food.
After dinner digestivo hit the spot. If you like dessert wine or dessert, they have options. Reservations recommended as it’s an intimate space. We’ll be back!

Early Sunday dinner for two. Easy parking. The dining area is very pretty. Tasteful red roses in bud vases, white table cloths, white washed brick, simple black and white photographs, general decor is simple but very nice. Very comfortable dining chairs. You enter through a little market area that had mostly empty shelves. There’s a good looking black lattice screen with pothos vines between the market and the restaurant.
The actual menu didn’t include veal chops as indicated on line. Very disappointed. The wine we ordered was also out of stock. Our appetizer, which we shared was very attractive and generous in quantity. Sausages and Broccoli Rape. I was delighted to see broccoli rape on the menu. It took a long time to arrive at our table. It was two medium sized sausages on a nice bright bed of greens. The sausages were bland and too lean. The greens were good. Our entrees were just ok. Breaded bone in pork chop was fine but really would have benefited from a sauce of some kind. The linguini and clams & bottarga was extremely salty and a very small serving, not a dinner portion. That was disappointing. Servers were fine, attentive. Corrado (chef? Owner?) came to the table to inquire if our dinner was going well, it was only a very brief but it was a bit awkward. He seemed very sad, no smile, we didn’t feel like he was really that interested. The prices weren’t outrageous, pasta in low 30’s and wine about $18 glass. Two glasses wine, one app, one pasta, one pork entree: bill was approximately $140. I wish the food had been better. I don’t think we’ll be back.

We stopped in for a quick bite and to see what they offered in the market. The food was very good quality and the service was very pleasant. I was very hungry and started eating before taking any photos. The Spaghetti with garlic and oil was perfectly cooked. The margarita pizza was made with high quality mozzarella cheese and the sauce was also good. Basil was fresh and the pizza dough was good. Nice job

Delicious, fresh made Italian food. Great market in-store with a lot of items to select from. They have different counter options for pizza, sandwiches, coffee, and gelato. it is nice they offer a separate selection for more fine dining. The Capri sandwich was fantastic!

Finally an Italian Market in the Scottsdale area that makes me feel like I’m back in Italy. One of my favorite things about Corso is the variety the owner is offering.

I stopped in for a lunch during the soft opening and was wow’d by the Capri Sandwich. While I was waiting for my food I took the time to browse, and not only do they have a great food but also an impressive variety of Italian products. The sandwich was amazing, and perfectly priced for lunch during the week.

They also have a fine dining area, which I am excited to try with my husband for date night.

UPDATE:
Came in a second time and the service was exceptional, the food as always was great and the coffee delicious!’
As a fifth generation Arizonan I’m always excited to try new places. Everything at the market is shipped from Italy. We tried their cappuccino which was very good. We ordered two panini sandwiches. We waited for way more than an hour and still no sandwich or water. Finally we get our sandwiches and they were good. Customer service there needs big improvements. The management did apologize for our order taking so long and took the sandwiches off our bill cause he said he lost our order.

Amazing Atmosphere and ambiance. Everything from beginning to end was excellent. Attentive servers, knowledgable bartenders, and even met the chef! Service was top notch. A hidden gem for sure. I can’t wait to return. Thank you Corso Italia for a memorable evening.

A friend mentioned their new opening. We got two sandwiches to go – a Capri and one of their salami options. Absolutely delicious – tomatoes perfectly ripe, and the cheeses and salamis. An absolutely top new favorite in town! They are in the midst of a soft opening, so service will speed up, but it’s worth a tad of patience (ahem to some of the other reviews) to taste this delicious fare.

First and last visit. The chef came to table to tell us why the eggplant parmejan was under cooked. A $5 cup of coffee, 4oz., no refills. Overpriced and under cooked. Many better italian restaurants nearby.
