Fantastic hidden gem that has extremely flavorful food, kind and attentive staff and an atmosphere that makes you forget where you are for a brief moment. And if that doesnt, then their XL margaritas will!
Prices are extremely fair. My favorite, their daily dine in special of 3 street tacos comes paired with surprisingly some of the best wings I’ve had in awhile. Something about the mango habenero wings, chips salsa and 3 beef corn tortilla tacos just hits right after a long day. $20

Had my 2nd great meal from here. Both times very delicious. The chips are awesome, salsa is good, a bit spicy (for me) but to good not to keep eating. Both visits the service was excellent, seated quick, food came out in a timely matter. Love the decor and appearance of the inside. Would highly recommend and will be back. Can’t remember the food I had just pics. Would highly recommend.

I’ve eaten tacos in San Diego and in Tijuana, and the tacos at Coronas were as tasty if not even better in freshness. Their guacamole was a great addition to their table salsa.

Server was kinda short with us, food was so so, everything was very expensive. Would not choose to go back there again for Mexican food. Mexican restaurant in medina is amazing! Try that place you won’t be disappointed at all!

Really wanted to like this place, and the food we ate did taste very good (thus the 2 stars instead of 1). The atmosphere is nice. HOWEVER I don’t know what’s going on in the kitchen but it definitely soured our opinion of the quality. I ordered the pork chimichanga and my husband got the Santa Fe burrito. When we got our food he took a bite of his burrito (filled with chicken and Chipotle sauce) and immediately said it tasted off. He took another bite of just the chicken and spit it out. He said it tasted spoiled or bad, so I tried a bite and it definitely did not taste right. So I tried my food to see how it was and the shredded pork tasted very good despite the several large chunks of fat. We let the waitress know the chicken was bad and she went back to the kitchen for a min, then came back and told us theres nothing wrong with the chicken, it was probably our taste buds due to the Chipotle sauce…. It was definitely not our taste buds and we love the flavor of Chipotle hence why we ordered it but whatever so he had them bring another burrito filled with just rice/beans to be safe. They brought that out with a sample of their Chipotle sauce that confirmed our opinion that it was not the culprit with the bad chicken (he ended up having stomach issues that evening….)We enjoyed the rest of our food until halfway thru his food he bit into a piece of METAL in his food!!(see picture). We told the waitress yet again about this issue and her statement was “why does this keep happening??” Wow so she took the piece back to the kitchen to show them. They did end up comping that one meal however I don’t know that we’ll return or recommend this place to others unfortunately. Hopefully the kitchen can figure out their issues and give the new restaurant a chance to make it.

I was disappointed to learn that this restaurant recently failed a health inspection. During my visits, I noticed that the establishment did not appear very sanitary, and on two separate occasions, I experienced food-related illness afterward. Cleanliness and food safety should be top priorities, and I hope management takes the necessary steps to improve hygiene and overall operations. Without significant improvements, the restaurant risks losing customer trust and long-term success.

This establishment surprised me in several ways. After reading mixed reviews and seeing the unassuming exterior, my expectations were low. However, upon entering, I was greeted by a beautifully designed interior with an American-Mexican style, clean surroundings, and comfortable seating. The service was friendly and attentive.
Then there’s the food—delicious with generous portions. From the appetizers to the main courses, everything was fresh and full of flavor. A highlight was the all-day happy hour with $5 margaritas.
My primary complaint is the pricing. While the food is good, some items approach $30, which seems excessive. Overall, if you’re prepared to pay a premium, you’ll enjoy the pleasant atmosphere and flavorful food. I’ll likely return.
