Corona is hands-down our favorite Mexican restaurant! The food is absolutely delicious—every dish is bursting with flavor. The service is impressively fast, and the staff always make you feel welcome with their warm and friendly hospitality. Whether you’re grabbing a quick meal or sitting down for a relaxed dinner, Corona never disappoints. Highly recommend!

Quesabirria was out of this world!! Cheese dip was good, but bland. Service was 10/10! Very attentive!

I have been to this place plenty of times, usually just for drinks. Last night I tried the food for the first time, and couldn’t be more upset.
This whole time, I’ve been just getting drinks, for the past few months, I never knew the food is AMAZING. I am a truck driver, I normally eat the fried fish (mojarra) from Mexican restaurants. I’ve eaten them all over the country, this was one of the best I’ve ever had. The fries and salad that came with the fish were actually great also. I fact just thinking about it, I’m going to go back right now to eat another one.

A solid 4 star Mexican restaurant!
The salsa could be chunkier in my opinion.
I really enjoyed the green sauce on the chilaquiles I ordered.
I’ll definitely stop in again!

I have no words because this was our favorite restaurant for so long. They gave us tortillas that had mold on them and when we told them they still expected us to pay for our food. Be careful going check everything because you could get a nasty surprise like we did. Luckily our kids didn’t touch the tortillas. We will never go back to either location. Disgusted and disappointed.

So my 13 year old son wasn’t here for a friend’s birthday. They stopped in after a fun night out with their coach/friend’s dad. My son paid for his own food. Thank God he had enough bc they robbed him. He ordered 2 chicken quesadillas. It came out dry and the small amount of cheese on it wasn’t even melted. He was hesitant to complain but the coach did. The waiter Jose Salvadore said he couldn’t take it back. My son only took one bite. The coach finally convinced Jose to take it back. My son changed his order to shrimp and rice which cost more. He said it was just OK. When the check came he was still charged for the quesadillas!!! What kind of mess is that?! Robbery!? How can they do that especially to a child. At least if you’re were going to charge him let him keep the Quesadillas. Nevertheless nobody will be returning there. I have a good mind to drive an hour up there.

This has ALWAYS been my FAVORITE Pelham Road Mexican spot!
Usually I get the ALL TIME BEST MEXICAN SOUP IN TOWN OR supreme nachos *spicy*
(UPDATE #3 1/24/26 Snow and ice are predicted tonight so before being house bound I came for some comfort food. I tried the California Burrito for myself and it was wonderful!! See the picture (it’s definitely big enough to share or for leftovers)
UPDATE #2 1/1/26 Went to start the year off right and although I had my favorite nachos I tasted the most delicious California Burrito meal – 12″ Flour tortilla stuffed with rice, beans, cheese dip and your choice of meat. Served with lettuce, guacamole, sour cream and pico de gallo. In the spirit of celebration I tried the most delicious dessert –
Tres Leches A light, tender sponge cake delicately soaked with 3 milks and covered with cream.
UPDATE #1 to go picture attached and please note the container weighs about a pound ASK for spicy cheese ) when I need major comfort food with spicy salsa which is fresh and has a flavorful kick BUT on this very rare occasion I went in and was delighted to find that the FAJITAS are fantastic!!! It was like Cinco de Mayo celebration in my mouth with generous servings of beef chicken and shrimp plus veggies and tortillas with rice beans guac sour cream and one of those signature sweet tomato slices
p.s. Don’t forget to wash your dinner down with the BEST sweet tea in town MMM MMM SOOOOO good
LOCATION> Pelham Road at 85 …does it get better? There is a stop light at Garlington, consider using that as traffic backs up
SERVICE > I was greeted immediately and the service was impeccable. The chips and salsa were served immediately and my every need and request (including a to go box and offer to take tea to go) was catered to with a smile
ATMOSPHERE> Casual good times with friends and family the futbol is on in the background and you can sit outside on a pretty day (which is just about EVERY SINGLE day in Grernvegas )
VALUE>
Buen Provecho!

We’ve been to a few Mexican restaurants in the area and this one so far is the best. The chimichanga was delicious and the cheese sauce that was on top of it was sooo good. All of our group enjoyed the food that they ordered. My oldest had a steak quesadilla and couldn’t even finish it, because it was a lot of food. They have a kids menu as well. My youngest had chicken tenders and French fries and kept saying yummy. Would definitely go back again. Our server was very nice and attentive, kept up with refills and asking if everything was good.
