This is a nice cozy brewery. My wife said her beer was off, she said it just didn’t taste right. She said it was more like a cider. Brian is a good server. The food was very good, my Ceasar roll was very tasty. My salad was fresh. The food was served quickly and hot. Would I go here again? Yes. This place could be a favorite.

Poutine lovers rejoice! This is the best poutine I’ve had in NE Ohio. The fries here are crispy and wonderfully seasoned, and the cheese curds are to die for. Absolutely insane amount for the price. The plate is like 1 1/2 forks across.

The onion rings are a 10/10 as well. Beautiful batter sweet onions, huge portions.

The veg for the burger is crisp and fresh and the buns are gorgeous as well. My only complaint is that the signature cornerstone burger itself was a bit bland(but still juicy and cooked just right). When compared to all the other amazing food items it falls a bit flat.

Staff is attentive, helpful and positive, and the vibes are chill.

A wonderful place and can’t wait to come back!

We ordered a burger with coleslaw and a chicken wrap with fruit.

Burger was good, but the chicken wrap was 6″ long total and 1.5″ in diameter.

It looked like a gas station wrap that costs $5 at speedway.

1 beer and water.

$43.00 before tip.

I was shocked.

Unfortunately, that’s the last time I can pay $50 for such little food. Wont be returning.

After expecting to wait for a table on a Saturday evening, we were surprised to see 60% of the tables were available. The service was impeccable due to the light crowd, and we were able to get our food and drinks almost immediately! The pepper jack stuffed pretzel from the Brewer’s pretzel is definitely worth the try, and the poutine was unique to us with the curds being deep fried. All entrees were delectable, with an emphasis on the Cajun ranch specialty pizza. This is a must stop if you’re passing through Berea and looking for a quick bite and a brew!

The food was great and the portion size was exceptional. Pretzel crusted chicken was a real treat. Their house beers were also very good.

I’ve always had good food and beers at Cornerstone. Tonight was the only exception. Something just went very wrong with the beer. The first beer -Sandstone – was supposed to be an Oktoberfest; it tasted like a fruited sour. The second – the old standby Grindstone Gold – also tasted sour. Ditto for the Porter. Something is wrong. The only beer that was good was the guest beer from Immigrant Son. Your beers have always been good and something is off. If something went wrong – pull them, don’t try to sell them because you’ll only damage your reputation, especially with people who haven’t been there before. Bring in more guest beers for now if needed. I’m telling you this as a supporter. The food was great. We’ll be back when the beer is straightened out. 3 stars because the food was good and the staff was great.

In our ever ongoing goal of trying all of our local berea restaurants, cornerstone brewery was next up on our list. Had heard good things about the restaurant so had to give it a try.

We ended up going on a Friday evening around 5pm. While it was busy, there was no wait and several tables were available on our arrival.

The staff greeted us on entering and directed us to pick a spot anywhere we liked. We ended up sitting near the rear of the restaurant quite close to the kitchen and prep area.

Our waiter came over once we sat, took our drink order and checked on us a few times while we were looking over the menu for the first time. Variety wise, it was a tough decision between several options that sounded amazing.

Ultimately, I ordered the Brewers pretzels as an appetizer and the Bavarian Pretzel Chicken as my entree with a side salad.

The Brewers pretzels came out quickly (fresh out of the oven) and included a pepper jack stuffed pretzel and a traditional soft pretzel. It came with dipping sauces of ranch and honey mustard. Both seemed house made and we’re great. The honey mustard was fantastic with the regular pretzel and the ranch complemented the pepper jack stuffed pretzel well.

As for the Bavarian Pretzel Chicken, I was blown away with the entire dish. The pretzel crusted chicken had a great flavor and was nice and moist without being the least bit dry on the inside. It was topped with a honey Dijon sauce that really worked with the chicken. The chicken was served on top of caramelized onion mashed potatoes and sauteed seasonal veggies. There was additional Honey Dijon sauce around the outer edge of the plate that I chose to mix both my potatoes and veggies in. The medley worked quite well and was very happy with the dish. It would be a dish I would order again and recommend with no hesitation.

All in all, it was a great experience and we look forward to visiting again and trying more of the menu as we visit.

First, the beer is amazing. Second, the food is fabulous! I had the pulled pork sandwich, it was the best! My wife had the Mahi Mahi wrap she said it was amazing. We both got the coleslaw as our side and were glad we did. Third the atmosphere and service was great. We will be back.
